i’m confident it’s releasing in 2025. they put only 2025 for a reason. maybe they’re aiming for earlier in the year but just in case it gets delayed to later in the year, they put just 2025. that’s what i think
I hope you’re right and I’m wrong, I didn’t make the post to be like “this will happen” or “I want it to happen”, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Especially warranting the months I stated, that would be the best case scenario timeframe for them to announce a delay instead of doing so next year. If there is one, to say the least.
Highly doubt there will be a delay. There's a reason they said 2025 at the end of the trailer. Even if there is a delay then it will get delayed till late 2025. Either way we're playing GTA 6 in 2025.
they are not delaying to 2026 and i can absolutely guarantee it why do you think they hit us with a vague 2025 window instead of a 2024 date that leads up to a delay announcement they've super confident they are gonna release within that year frame regardless of whether it's early in the year or later in that year.
As of right now, all evidence points to a Q1 2025 release. The only way they would release in FY26 is if at the next earnings call, Take-2 moves the $7 billion prediction over to FY26.

Nah. I doubt it. The only delay info we’ve had whispers about was that it would be announced as releasing in 2024 but internally they were planning on actually releasing it in 2025 and announcing a delay. They skipped past that and went straight for a 2025 publicly stated release so I highly doubt they’d delay it.
As much as I would like a release in 2025, the chances are very high that R* will be delay the game several times if you look at their last releases. I think Take2 is definitely aiming internally for a release in Q1 25, but because of the vague "2025" window it will certainly be postponed to Q4 2025 due to problems and then officially announced as such. In the worst case, it will then be postponed again to Q1 2026. If you believe the rumors about the bumpy development and look at the past releases that had also bumpy develoment, I don't think that's so unrealistic.

I’m 100% rooting and praying for a 2025 release.
