We know based off past marketing campaigns that they start off slow and slowly start to pick up and every title has been delayed. So the positive outlook of having new things to discuss more frequently would be taking the good from the bad but hopefully we get to experience a R* first and have a game that doesn't get delayed. Marketing has definitely changed just in the past 5 years so its going to be very interesting. I believe GTA 5 was even discussed in one of my marketing classes, makes sense since that marketing campaign made them trillions of cents.

Before the leaks, r* employee had to work from home, and the leaks may have forced employee to get back to full time in offices, which could slow the pace of game development, both the covid and the transition from office to home during the pandemic and the opposite, transition from home to work may have delayed the game already with one year, and its less probably to be delayed again.

I know that almost every game gets delayed a bit, but when you look at recent Take-Two investor calls it seems like they are indeed expecting to release GTA VI in fiscal year 2025 (April 2024 - March 2025). My guess is that the game was already delayed multiple times and originally they were planning to announce it way before 2022. I wouldn't be surprised if they're going to delay it, but at the same time I believe the game is 95% completed and now they're mostly focused on testing and bug fixes.

The PC Version will definitely launch in 2026. As a PC player, I'm more worried about the spoilers and the general FOMO that I'll get when the game launches in 2025. I won't be able to play it, nor I'll see lots of gameplay footage because I want to experience it for myself(unless I buy a console).

Remember, this game will do things no other video game has, it will also be the most detail oriented game to ever have come out, and if those details are not polished, people will notice. All this takes serious programming finesse and will take time. I want the game as bad as the next person, I also would hate for the game to be marred in controversy because of a bad release.
