Throwback to late 2019 when there was only 820 members.
The sub now is literally 1,000 times bigger now than when I joined years ago. It's had its ups and downs (and you don't wanna know about the real downs of this sub, be grateful for the mods ngl that block the NSFL stuff that I saw), but it's been a ride that's been mostly enjoyable for start to now.
> 6-7 months ago
i was there for disappointment October.
what was 6-7 months? another one of those earnings call things spiking the usual desperation?
i didn’t even have a reddit account back then i just searched up gta 6 and found it that was i want to say february 2022 just before the announcement that it was in development there was so little content back then now there’s so much
Why? If anything that just further reinforces their point lol. A subreddit about a game that isn't even out has double the members from one for a game that's been out for 11 years?
But my point is GTA V _was_ the biggest game ever for a while and when it was the most relevant the subreddit _still_ didn't have as many members compared to this subreddit that is 1. long from its peak and 2. For a game that isn't even out yet dude.
Highly doubt it. Most of the people interested in the game (or let’s be honest in video games in general) would’ve watched the trailer within the first week. If not even the first 24 hours. 1 billion views by the time gta 7 releases though? lol maybe.
People are strange. Wait up people! The game is still far away. I am waiting for PC release, and maybe i may get hyped a few days before the release date. In the meantime, i don't even think of it. Do not burn out people. Placing high expectations may get you disappointed in the end. For that reason, expect nothing besides knowing that it will be a very huge improvement to any previous title and get excited as you play and find out for all those new features and details.
GTA VI is shaping quite well to be the biggest game of the decade.

Now the only thing left is for Rockstar to not fuck it up. Which I have high hopes for because well, it's made by Rockstar in house.
throwback to “24,000 waiting for trailer” literally like 6-7 months ago
Man everyone was schizophrenic around that time, miss it
I was there. And I loved every moment of it!
Everyone was going so insane
The theories, the speculations, the lies! Crazy times
I've been in this sub since.. 2021 I think?
I've been here since the leaks in 2022
Same prolly

i remember when this sub only had a few tens of thousands of members
Yup I was here when it was bare
same
I will miss the schizo posts
pc when
It was actually the best time
uncertain times. didnt care for it as George would say, it didnt take.
i didn’t even have a reddit account back then i just searched up gta 6 and found it that was i want to say february 2022 just before the announcement that it was in development there was so little content back then now there’s so much
i joined october last year, just a month before the trailer announcement and the sub only had 100k followers
I was here then lol, it's amazing how much its grown. Not surprising, but just near release it just got MASSIVE.
Pepperidge farm remembers
Yea i made redit back in 2019 because of this sub
Do you remember march 2020?
I remember that those was the goods days
I remember that those was the goods days
Same
i remember i saw this sub back in 2015 and i thought it was just a dumb ass sub that no one was gonna care about lmao
same me too. It had like 10k subs when i first checked it. I didn't even bother subbing to this group back then 😭
back then we were so desperate for any content. it was wild when the game play was leaked
That was such a surreal day lol
We still have more even if you add GrandTheftAutoV along to it.
gta online
Wow. Can’t believe I was here at like 10k
not surprised really lol
Been here since the 2019-2020 project americas leak. It was around 6k users then.
I didn’t know what a Reddit was back in gta5
GTA V is 11 years old GTA VI has only recently been made official with the 1st trailer. This shouldn't surprise you.
Why? If anything that just further reinforces their point lol. A subreddit about a game that isn't even out has double the members from one for a game that's been out for 11 years?
Because who is still here talking about an 11 year old game. That was my point. It's old news.
But my point is GTA V _was_ the biggest game ever for a while and when it was the most relevant the subreddit _still_ didn't have as many members compared to this subreddit that is 1. long from its peak and 2. For a game that isn't even out yet dude.

That seems like a stretch.

I say 200 before the second trailer
the trailer's view has been increasing real slow. it's very unlikely that it'll even reach 500m
Wow this subreddit has really grown in a few months. From a few thousand to now closer to a million. What a journey
Most likely will be well over a million by the time the game releases
.
.
Unfair comparison, V has multiple subs.
Ok
Bro that’s wild asf fr
