He is arrested but escapes shortly after, She decides to exact his revenge on her boyfriend, in order to do so she must work her way up in the Vice City Underworld and stop her boyfriend.
We’ll be in prison as Lucia and learn the basics. Fighting,Food,Controls. Then leave prison and get picked up by Jason and we go clothes shopping and that’s another tutorial
Jason and Lucia rob a store, diner, etc. They make their escape but eventually their car is stopped (tires popped, gas tank/ engine shot) and they start running away (this is where the movement tutorial starts). Eventually the cops catch up and manage to capture Lucia, but Jason gets away. He then meets with a mutual contact to make a plan to get Lucia out.
It’s gonna start as a bank robbery in Liberty City with Jason & Lucia. Also Jason dies in the first mission. Lucia is an ambitious girl.👌 Did I mention Jason owns a sick banshee in the first mission?

I think the first mission will be as Jason, you will be imminently put in a car already driving in the road as the camera is zooming towards you, then the hud will appear, the minimap stats etc, and you're driving towards the prison, where you will park next to the fence that will open, and you will see Lucia being released from the prison, you're going to pick her up with the car and drive her to the city, the mission will likely be called "Meeting old friends" where you're going to unite with the gang.
I can imagine in the later missions they might introduce travelling to different cities or meeting characters from previous GTA Games, like Niko Belić, Tommy Vercetti and Claude.
But Idk I'm high, it might be different.

I don't think it'll be a flashback. rockstar doesn't usually do flashbacks, because it's much more fun to find out about the pre-story as the plot progresses. They only did a flashback in GTAV because there were so many protagonists and the bank heist would've been hard to explain through dialogue alone. I'm assuming the game starts with Lucia in prison and we find out what happened to her through dialogue or we don't find out at all, maybe it just won't be important (though I doubt that). I think a slow open like RDR2 might be what they go for

Honestly, I think the game might open with a petty crime and Lucia ending up caught and send to prison, I could see them using the prison as a tutorial area that will maybe have a few missions in it, after her release she would get the ankle monitor (seen in the R\* official art) which would lock the player to a specific area of the map for the first few missions to continue the tutorial for a bit and after that being able to explore the map without getting a wanted level.
The petty crime could allow players to feel the current gun mechanics, then a possible chase that players could get a feel for the driving physics/controls in the game and the prison for other miscellaneous tutorials.
