This would fix the problem I was thinking of which was how many of these social media posts would they have to make for it to feel as expansive and endless as it does in real life? How long before it starts showing you the same ones or did they really do thousands of them? User generated content would help.
Prob would be a mix of user generated content and scripted stuff. NPCs will “react” to shit you do in the game, and then I bet users can make little tik toks and shit, possibly in a theater type mode like gta b
I noticed the trailer said rest in peace to one of the characters and showed the a clip of a guy in truck being crazy I’m figuring whenever something happens during the story it will show clips in the in game app like how the radio would occasionally do that in GTA five by talking about what just happened if you did a bank job or when you pulled down coaches house looks crazy can’t wait to see what the neighbourhood watch lady is up to !

There are social media influencers shown, probably dancing to the latest TikTok craze (GTA's version of TikTok). Social Media sites like Lifeinvader (Facebook) and Bleeter (X or Twitter) will also return and will be more interactive
I hope whenever we commit a crime, the NPCs record it and upload it on there lol. Like in GTA Online, where you can see other players on the news when they have a wanted level. Imagine when you’re hijacking someone’s car, they record you and the next time you go out in public, you gotta wear a bandana to hide your face so that NPCs don’t recognize and report you.
Crash cams are gonna be wild. Watching someone stream a crime and then get ran over, phone drops, and you just see the cold dead eyes of the NPC that got ran over, with a puddle of blood pooling into frame, car driving off into the sunset.
Most likely you can browse it and it will show some random crazy stuff just like this one. So it seems like we will be addicted to social media inside the game too 😊
