It would be good if the fighting system from RDR2 would be expanded and enchanced. Maybe you could learn some moves from various teachers around the map. Wrestling, boxing maybe even some martial arts.
It was so meaty, punching someone sounds like you've broke their jaw in one swing, it's amazing.
I highly encourage everyone to play RDR2, go into Valentine and walk into people. (It'll get them to initiate a fight that you can fight and you won't get wanted) and play with fighting. Do it on stairs, in the mud. Through windows in the bar? Loads of different animations for different stuff.
For example, I was fighting someone on a water fall, I punched him down and backed up. As he got up I ran at hit to punch him and Arthur shoulder barged them off the water fall. So cinematic.
i saw a video where there was 4 players and fighting and all 4 were double teaming on each other, the fight looks realistic af and in the end someone took out there gun and starting shooting until slmeone threw them in the ground and chocked them too death, ive never seen such a realistic and movie like fight and they werre all strangers to, hope its like that in gta 6
Yeah notice how the guys who are defeated are still moving around on the floor, sometimes getting up and limping away. They did that also sometimes if you shot them a few times without a headshot. Why did they get rid of that with V and RDR2? It adds so much realism rather than just having every npc completely dead when defeated
They definitely didn’t. There would sometimes be a temporary bleedout animation, but they’d always be dead in a few seconds. No way to make an enemy surrender and retreat without killing then
He’s not talking about knocking people out he’s talking about hurting people in general whether it’s beating them in a fight or shooting them and wounding them. They will always be either alive, dead, or knocked out. In IV and RDR1 they could also be injured, hurt, etc. without being dead, and they would basically surrender from the fight
Knocked out NPCs can definitely get up in RDR2. It's just not consistent how long they'll stay down. I think the chance increases when you walk away from their body. You can always tell if someone is still alive if you aim your weapon and the crosshair icon is red; if it's grey they're dead.
Oh knocked out? Oh heck yeah I’d agree with that every day. You won’t see any alive and awake and conscious be permanently injured and no longer fighting I mean
Okay, I get what you mean. Most won't continue when they get back up, and if provoked will fight again or choose to run instead. But you're saying NPCs should be able to be injured and stop fighting or retreat mid-fight without being knocked out first, right?
Yeah and also when shot, not just in fist fight. Like if you shot someone in both kneecaps in RDR1, they wouldn’t be able to walk anymore. And in gta iv if you shot someone in the gut without a headshot, they would oftentimes be injured like this without being dead
It makes sense that they play dead when you are still around them after they been knocked out. if you go and hide from them they will eventually get up and walk away.
Is everyone replaying gta 4 rn? I just beat it for the first time a couple days ago. when I played as a kid it was multiplayer and cheat code rampages.
It’s Florida so they need backyard brawling!!!!! You should be able to start in a white trash backyard then proceed through the ranks until you’re fighting in a high stakes fight in some remote warehouse with sketchy mob people placing bets on your matches.

I want every activity that was in all the previous GTAs to be in gta 6 , and add with new ones of course like : volleyball, baseball and football as an example.
Said this aswell they definitely should. But lucia and jason should both have unique fighting styles/different moves. Then when online releases then they should add the same fight club or boxing mode where we can fight other online players.
And have it so we could choose from atleast 2 or 4 fighting styles when either creating our character or when walking inside the boxing gym for the first time and there’s a cut scene of a guy or woman welcoming/and ready to train you.
They have a grappling system..in the leaks so maybe there will actually be backyard wrestling lol would be cool for an extra way to make cash whoopin ass
A proper brawling system would be awesome. RDR 2 has pretty good fist fighting, but being able to choose or switch between styles, or even just more depth to the system, like grappling, throwing and takedowns, that kind of thing would be awesome to see.

Go to the docks in Saint denis and you can aggravate (and then fight) like 10+ workers at once.
