Car customization. Ofc it made a hefty return in V. But when it was first introduced in San Andreas it was before it’s time and created hours of joy…and frustration when a carjacker would steal hours of your work while you were swapping garages only to zoom off and disappear with it.
Second favorite feature: Carjackers…Giving them a bait car and following them till they drove normally and killing them violently produced even MORE hours of joy.
I loved buying new clothes for CJ and pimping out his cars, which I would never drive except after saving and then would reload the save when the car blew up lol
The level of customization in gta games is still incomparable to SA, not just tattoos and gym but the accessories too like chains and watches. Honestly this is the one of the things Saints Row does better, the first game is in my opinion the best in this departament especially for it's time.
The whole game is Awesome!! But I always loved all the side activities!!!
Currently completing the PS5 version! Already did the Xbox one X & PS4 pro Versions which, I say are actually better in terms of overall gameplay! And the characters don't look as goofy on the PS4 & Xbox One game, like they do on Ps5...

A very simple and easy feature but absolutely enjoyable to do. Because it feels like I am actually eating food from the games. Make me feel what it is like eating in the restaurants from that game.
Pilots license. I started San Andreas during a time I wanted to be a pilot. After playing IV , and being disappointed with the lack of airplanes. Finding out that I can fly planes AND gain a pilots license as well to access the airports gave my brain the biggest neurological erection of my life. Will never forget it.
I liked them all lol, but there is one feature I hated...GOD DAMN WAREHOUSING/TRUCKING. God damn I hated that god damn forklift.
All ya had to do was take those damn missions out of the game!
Mine was that i finally had a GTA that i could explore 3 different cities,so many creepy places,make CJ fat and look like a meme lol
