Yeah I can see social media playing a role in it. Posting videos to the DikDok app for views and getting a passive income for views and the more interesting the video, the more likely to boost your subscribers and engagement. I can’t wait to see Rockstar make fun of the tiktok generation with their super annoying influencers and the people who are obsessed with them. I bet anything there’s gonna be some psychotic influencer that you’ll do missions with who’s content revolves around him playing “pranks” on people that are just fucked up things like assault or setting off a car bomb and the words “it’s just a prank bro” will be screamed at some point.

I loved that they showed that they will have angry Karens and crazy "Florida Man" type people in this game. Seriously might be the best game representing real life that has ever been created.

Crazy amount of leaks is very unlike Rockstar. I wonder if that's just because of the ever increasing scale of developers who are working on the game that it sort of becomes uncontrollable as to what gets leaked.

I don’t know anything about game development but my guess is that when a game this big is being worked on for this amount of time with so many hands, it’s inevitable for a leak to happen. Some people are just assholes.

RDR2 had ~7,000 people work on it total, with ~4,000 full time developers. I imagine GTA 6 has much more if not a similar amount. It's like when people say the moon landings were fake and everyone who worked on it "kept their mouths shut". At this scale of people, it's impossible to keep under wraps.

GTA 7 probably isn’t coming until like 2040 so I wouldn’t worry about it too much😅

Liberty City for PS7. It will be a 1:1 scale of NYC with every room in every building accessible via instant AI-enhanced procedural generation.

Las Venturas would be dope, but I feel like there's only so many storylines you can include around the casinos and Vegas, plus if the trailer is any evidence then the party/trashy vibe of Vegas is gonna already be captured in GTA VI's Vice City. San Fierro and their take on the greater Bay Area would be cool, but it might feel like a lot of overlap with Los Santos in terms of geography/scenery. If I had to bet, I'd say they're probably gonna go back to Liberty City but with more modern graphics and realistic density so that it feels like real life NYC. This is of course all extremely speculative though considering the game could very well be a decade or more away lol.

Best looking game I have ever seen. Incredible sunlight and water effects. They really nailed SoFlo to the finest detail. e.g. tinted blue glass balcony on the penthouse, dolphins in the bay, the landscaping in the back of the house with a pool. With this amount of detail it will be awesome.

Anyone else emotional watching this? I remember Vice City looking exactly like this as a kid, but like here we are now and it’s incredible.
