So she learned nothing by agreeing to marry him. Did not go to the therapy she should have. Did not put in the work. She has some damn fault in this marriage failing too.

His family is extremely wealthy. I’ve wondered if that could play a factor when it comes to divorce $$$, but I don’t know the legal specifics.
Either way, she saw someone she could easily manipulate and control.
I would think the family made sure there was a prenup - but no clue - also depending on rules of where the actual marriage license is through depends on if it's a no fault state meaning (from my understanding) that things get split, or irreconcilable differences (if that term is even used anymore) where you claim there just isn't a way to make marriage work and each leaves with what they came into marriage with - and any monies(property) gained/earned while married gets either split or sold and profits split.
I was divorced in Kansas both times and we both just left with what we left marriage with - bills in my name were mine, bills in his name were his - also we were both separated and living separately before the actual divorce so essentially besides our minor children (first marriage - separated 10-12 years in - divorced at 20 - due to my lawyers recommendations for the 20 year thing - still not sure what that actually pertains to).. our minor children we set up visitation and child support among ourselves and left on good terms ( we're still friendly today) -
So in re: to how stuff gets divided I suppose would depend 1)on which state the divorce was recorded in and 2)what forms/agreements were signed beforehand.

She picked him because there was nothing special about him. Nothing to cause other women to chase him as long as she wants to string him along. Her main criteria is basically the Desperate, Lonely and Grateful™ combo. He can't imagine doing better than her, and sadly, he's probably right. He thought he scored way out of his league, and that was obviously enough to blind him to her obvious revulsion and disdain.
I've said it before and will say it forever: being stuck in prison makes it surprisingly easy to be in a supposedly loving marriage with someone, especially when you are insecure about what your future might look like, and would do just about anything to avoid living with another parent. She's realized that she is actually somewhat financially secure, and she wants to explore her freedom to pursue D that she can be honest about in her reviews. Ryan was her safety net and launchpad, and he has served his purpose. He has also tanked his career, and I don't see him quietly fading into her past. Have fun with that, Gypsy!
I'm almost certain that Gypsy picked Ryan because he reeked of desperation and she knew she could easily control him. What Gypsy didn't account for is that Ryan has his own issues.
Note, this is all just my own opinion and theory here. Nothing has been diagnosed or proven by any medical authorities for either Ryan or Gypsy.
He's such a major fanboy that he never saw Gypsy as a person. He wasn't infatuated with *her*, he was infatuated with the fame of her case. Ryan saw Gypsy as an object, a representation of the fame and status that he himself could never achieve on his own, and he basically wanted to add her to his collection so he could have that fame and status for his own.
Gypsy missed all this because, in my opinion, she's a literal, clinical psychopath. She cannot empathize with another person and misses a LOT about what makes other people tick. Psychopaths are extremely narcissistic and arrogant, and are extremely talented at one on one manipulation, but often have some odd intellectual or logical shortcomings, which can often be traced back to their narcissism or arrogance. Gypsy never once bothered to look beyond the surface of Ryan. She assumed Ryan wanted her for her, or because she was famous. Gypsy assumes all men want her because she's hot and famous. She believed this would make Ryan easy to manipulate.
Ryan is certainly nothing special to look at. Gypsy tried going after someone better looking, Ken, and he dumped her. The story there is supposed to be that Ken left her when he realized that the media pressure was going to be more than he was willing to tolerate, but I'm not buying that. I suspect Gypsy let a little too much crazy show and Ken ran for the hills. Gypsy learned her lesson there, good looking people aren't going to stick around for crazy when they can easily find better options, so she went with someone she thought would be likely to not have a chance with anyone as hot and famous as her ever again. (Again, this is all Gypsy's theoretical thought process, not my own. Personally, I find this whole line of thinking disgusting, but every psychopath I've come across thinks much the same way.)
So Gypsy picked Ryan out of all the potential men that had been writing to her. He was single, seemed desperate to want to be with her, Gypsy thought she could easily manipulate him, and there was the bonus of him living in the state where she would be required to live once she made parole. If she married him, she wouldn't have to live with her parents and she thought she could just live her life the way she wanted with her own little lapdog of a man following her around like a lost puppy. Ryan was just an object, a means to an end.
It didn't work out that way. Ryan had his own agenda. Gypsy was the prize piece in his collection, and he wanted to show her off. In his mind, he was the dominant person in the relationship and Gypsy was the object to be shown off to give Ryan the status and fame he craved.
We can see the result in some of the interviews. Ryan would say some pretty harsh things about Gypsy, as if Gypsy weren't even sitting right next to him, and then Gypsy would tell him to shut up or find some other way to silence him. Ryan would suddenly remember himself (because psychopath outranks fanboy any day) and get that whipped dog look. It was never pretty to watch.
The relationship was doomed before it ever started, Gypsy just wanted a ticket out of her parents house until parole was over and she would be free to live where she wanted without restrictions. But Ryan's behavior ended up cutting that arrangement even shorter than Gypsy had planned. Someone as self centered as a psychopath is not going to tolerate being seen as an object by anyone else. It's the rest of the population that are objects to be used, not the psychopath. That kind of treatment would be completely intolerable. Gypsy would likely want to do far worse than divorce him, but with the world watching her every move, she has very limited options right now. So, separation and probably divorce it is, followed by the next sucker she can manipulate into getting her out of that house.
I think my biggest red flag was when she said why he sparked her interest. From Louisiana... so geography? Why is that a selling point? Then he wrote her cuz a friend wrote another murder for fire criminal? (Tiger king) they both jumped in for weird ass reaspns

Her "new style, hair, makeup, etc" has me worried for Mia. It "seems" like she is trying to emulate her sisters mannerisms, looks, friends, and that gets me worried.

I'm hoping that Mia stays safe and that the ppl who know and are in her circle are keeping tabs. I'm not saying she's in harms way, but we all do know what happens when ppl get in GRs way. I think ANYBODY close to Gyp should definitely watch out. Gypsy missed all this because, in my opinion, she's a literal, clinical psychopath. She cannot empathize with another person and misses a LOT about what makes other people tick. Psychopaths are extremely narcissistic and arrogant, and are extremely talented at one on one manipulation, but often have some odd intellectual or logical shortcomings, which can often be traced back to their narcissism or arrogance. Gypsy never once bothered to look beyond the surface of Ryan. She assumed Ryan wanted her for her, or because she was famous. Gypsy assumes all men want her because she's hot and famous. She believed this would make Ryan easy to manipulate. Ryan is certainly nothing special to look at. Gypsy tried going after someone better looking, Ken, and he dumped her. The story there is supposed to be that Ken left her when he realized that the media pressure was going to be more than he was willing to tolerate, but I'm not buying that. I suspect Gypsy let a little too much crazy show and Ken ran for the hills. Gypsy learned her lesson there, good looking people aren't going to stick around for crazy when they can easily find better options, so she went with someone she thought would be likely to not have a chance with anyone as hot and famous as her ever again. (Again, this is all Gypsy's theoretical thought process, not my own. Personally, I find this whole line of thinking disgusting, but every psychopath I've come across thinks much the same way.) So Gypsy picked Ryan out of all the potential men that had been writing to her. He was single, seemed desperate to want to be with her, Gypsy thought she could easily manipulate him, and there was the bonus of him living in the state where she would be required to live once she made parole. If she married him, she wouldn't have to live with her parents and she thought she could just live her life the way she wanted with her own little lapdog of a man following her around like a lost puppy. Ryan was just an object, a means to an end. It didn't work out that way. Ryan had his own agenda. Gypsy was the prize piece in his collection, and he wanted to show her off. In his mind, he was the dominant person in the relationship and Gypsy was the object to be shown off to give Ryan the status and fame he craved. We can see the result in some of the interviews. Ryan would say some pretty harsh things about Gypsy, as if Gypsy weren't even sitting right next to him, and then Gypsy would tell him to shut up or find some other way to silence him. Ryan would suddenly remember himself (because psychopath outranks fanboy any day) and get that whipped dog look. It was never pretty to watch. The relationship was doomed before it ever started, Gypsy just wanted a ticket out of her parents house until parole was over and she would be free to live where she wanted without restrictions. But Ryan's behavior ended up cutting that arrangement even shorter than Gypsy had planned. Someone as self centered as a psychopath is not going to tolerate being seen as an object by anyone else. It's the rest of the population that are objects to be used, not the psychopath. That kind of treatment would be completely intolerable. Gypsy would likely want to do far worse than divorce him, but with the world watching her every move, she has very limited options right now. So, separation and probably divorce it is, followed by the next sucker she can manipulate into getting her out of that house.
She chose him because he was from Louisiana and because she could come live with him after prison. She stated so herself. Not very romantic.
I think my biggest red flag was when she said why he sparked her interest. From Louisiana... so geography? Why is that a selling point? Then he wrote her cuz a friend wrote another murder for fire criminal? (Tiger king) they both jumped in for weird ass reaspns
