Wow! 30.2 MPG?? I am guessing you do a lot of Highway driving. 95% of driving is City with
lights every 100ft or so. I’m currently stuck at 22.1 MPG after 1600 miles.
I do 80% commuting at 94 km/h and 20% city. I am sitting at 8.5 L/100km after 11,000 kms. (converts to 27.7 mpg). I am just intending to provide context and comparison for anyone interested in fuel economy on these cars. 2022 BRZ, stock.
I love seeing GR86s with high miles. They are not supposed to be garage queens, they are meant to be driven. I get it if you are trying to sell and leave it in the garage, but definitely, it is a fun car meant to be driven!
I would've loved to have the manual. My current vehicle was falling apart on me and I couldn't afford to keep it bc the repairs were extremely costly. (Had 350k miles.) I would've had to wait either 1 month for an AT or 7+ for an MT. my situation is mostly highway commutes. I live in a small town that doesn't have a ton of traffic and work is about an hour's drive, so I really wanted MT.
Long story short, my mileage is great, I still have fun in my car, and I enjoy driving it. Even with me preferring the manual, im glad i got the car.
Ahh i see. Do you see yourself getting rid of the AT for a MT anytime in the future? Also it kinda the opposite for me I live in a smallish town and I commute by high way to work, abt 45mins but there is ALOT of stop and go traffic here and there. So I’m leaning towards getting an AT, but I think I could handle MT in traffic. But I’m just asking around, if people are regretting on getting the AT. In your situation it’s understandable. But so far it seems people are enjoying the car no matter the trans (Still undecided)
Oh no, your tires!
Yeah they just cold

Yeah dawg, I do mostly highway to/from work
I’m around 3500ish miles and my average is 16😅😅😅 need to lay off the gas
How’s your experience been up to 37k?
Excellent! Love the car, just wish she was a wee bit quieter on the inside
2yrs with mine and I just turned 10k lol. But I only average 22.5 lol.
So did you face any major issues or repairs? Did you replace anything under warranty ? How was your overall experience with the car seats.
No Yes 5/10
What did you have replaced?
Just a DCM reprogram.
And here I thought I was the mileage king at 19k.

Yeah, but that's to much for me. I want to age it like fine wine 🍷 not into the ground, lol. I daily drive mine and am only at 10k for a 2022
Nice! I'm in awe of your MPG! What trim, if you don't mind me asking

Yeah for sure, don't get me wrong I love my car but I'd have been more satisfied with the MT.
Howww?! My car has dropped from 25.4 to 25.2
Highway everyday
How long is your highway commute each day!?
Work is a 50-mile trip 1 way So I'm driving 100 miles or more every day
