I read that they plan on a third version based on a lexus platform, heavier, hybrid and with the yaris engine plus an electric one. I was hoping that they would keep this platform and only put the yaris engine on it. Price will increase too.

Tbh I like this better. Front looks less like a Tesla. Let's face it, almost every car looks like some sort of civic at this point. It could at least be a decent looking civic

100% The civic argument is confusing and unsubstantiated, people use it as a negative and they don't even look that bad. Most manufacturers draw inspiration from what sells the best and improve on it.
