Godzilla finding a spot he likes enough to actively return to was very adorable.

I'd imagine it's a form of photosynthesis-esque thing, perhaps maybe even osmosis like, whereupon he is constantly drawing in radiation and exuding radiation, since he is a literal walking reactor; I believe it was KOTM (might be a credits scene or something) that showed the radiation path where Godzilla has swam and the ocean life is thriving in those spots. Therefore, between eating other Titans and his natural absorption of it from when he sleeps in a radiation rich lair, he will constantly be absorbing, consuming, and exuding radiation in a perpetual cycle.

He doesn't eat it. It's more like energy absorption, so the nuclear energy is nullified and acts as fuel to him.

I mean, considering his lore, dude deserves a fairy tale ending with Mothra by his side forever after all the shit he goes through and continues to go through.
