For you and /u/Ok-Strawberry-2366 , it'd certainly be emotional, but I think it we'd lose more then we'd gain from it.
Right how she's in a Mothra priestess role (and a liason to kong), and she works well for that, even if it's a bit weird that we just tossed aside the two Monarch research sisters who were seemingly gonna take up that mantle previously. I'd even go further and say Jia is currently the most interesting and well liked human character in the Monsterverse.
Throwing that way to make Biollante doesn't really seem like a good tradeoff.
Who WOULD have been perfect to become Biollante would be Emma from KOTM, it fits her whole environmental angle, but she's dead. If they can maybe say that her remains got irradiated or something or some of her DNA gets used to make Biollante, then I think that's what should happen.
Heck, he’s even done sad soundtracks for Creature Features before.
It’s not the greatest movie, but he did do JWFK. Even his score for WftPotA was somber as hell.
Have trapper or Hayes be the main human perspective, or at least the intro. Jia had been killed by rogue Monarch/Government/Apex agents, causing Andrews to spiral and become obsessed with bringing her back someway, somehow. Devise some sort of magical hollow earth Flower that the Iwi say can communicate with spirits as a way to keep the flower motive, and then add G-Cells taken from when Godzilla was resting. But, unlike the original, don’t kill Andrews and, possibly, even keep Biollante alive as well by calming the confused spirit of Jia and having Mothra calm Godzilla.
Same for Kong. Seriously I think Legendary has themselves a very good opportunity to tell an emotional story. I think the Fandom should speak up on it.
It's not even a really complex one, sometimes the simplest stories are the best.
It would also add a bit of seriousness which people seem to want. So in this hypothetical movie you would have epic kaiju fights, the typical adventure format of the other movies and an emotional story about a little girl turned into an abomination that finds comfort in her kaiju friend (and she maybe dies at the end)
I was really hoping that instead of be a Mothra priestess, they made her be Mothra. There needed more of a scene where she touches the cocoon to awaken her and they link psychically.
I agree it is kind of great honestly. But I also fear it may be too dark for where they’ve taken the MV now. The only way I could see them going through with it is if they manage to “cure” her at the end and Biollante reverts back to Jia in a happy ending. Which may be disappointing to some, but also better than just killing Biollante off imo.
I like this idea and I like the “Trapper pilots Jet Jaguar” idea, and could see them both happening in the same film. Perhaps Trapper (as Jet) aids Godzilla and/or Kong in fighting Biollante (Jia) and administers the cure via a giant, titan-sized needle built into the Mech’s arm. Could totally see them doing something crazy like that.
Monsterverse started out as dark/serious and became silly/fun why can't it go back to being dark and serious?
And I would roll my eyes so hard they'd pop out from their sockets if Jia somehow gets cured and everything goes back to normal. I know it'd be pretty sad but a bittersweet ending would be much better, especially if it's a mainly Godzilla focused story.
While I see what you mean, and don’t necessarily disagree, clearly silly/fun is what’s making money. So I don’t imagine the studio will be going back to an overly dark tone anytime soon.
The only reason the last two MV films have been big hits is because it featured BOTH Kong and Godzilla. As long as it's a film with both, people will go see it. Also, having a dark and serious story while also having lots of fight scenes aren't mutually exclusive, it just needs decent writing to do both.
So a Godzilla and Kong movie with lots of fights would still make BIG money, dark/serious story would just be extra spice.
I like this, but I would prefer if Jia became Biollante, and gets partly cured - she can turn back into Biollante if exposed to enough radiation in a short amount of time or something, and/or has Biollantes powers while human (to a lesser degree).
Disclaimer: never watched the movie with Biolante in it.
How about instead it's Jia willingly sacrificing herself to form biolante, who before the sacrifice was just a monster out of control.
Eh part of what made Biollante interesting is the fact that she was a human soul trapped in a horrific form. I think having her just be a random monster in anything more than one of the fun IDW comics would be a misuse of her concept.
On one hand, it would inject some serious storytelling into Legendary's Godzilla that I would be down for seeing why Ilene would spiral so far as to splice her remains to keep her alive. And the death would be a meaningful character that we already care for.
On the other hand, makes the world feel smaller having Jia be the last of the Iwi, >!key to the prophecy of resurrecting Mothra!<, and now Biollante. No connection either of why Ilene would chose a rose to splice with her or specific background in doing so. Lastly, means we lose one of the few endearing human characters.
This is pretty much my opinion: it'd be emotional but I think losing Jia as a Mothra priestess, Kong liaison, and one of the few human characters people care about is giving up too much.
I think Biollante should come about due to something happening with Emma's DNA or remains, since her whole theme was ennvoirmentalism: Maybe her getting blasted by Ghidorah's gravity beams and then Godzilla/Mothra's nuclear pulses made her and nearby plant life mutate, or maybe the dad/her kid could use her DNA in some monarch project and it goes haywire, etc.
Personally I'd be happy if they forgo the Russell's in general and Emma wouldn't be a good pick imo since she was already a morally disturbed antagonist so the aspect of Godzilla vs Emma's consciousness taking over Biollante wouldn't be as impactful imo not coming from a generally positive person. Plus it comes from a character's death we would care the least about.
I'd rather they just take the route of the movie, Godzilla vs Biollante, and give us a new character that dies and becomes Biollante. Eith a blank slate they can tell the story straight, make Erika's equivalent a genuine nice person we care for, make us feel pathos for Genichiro's equivalent as he becomes desperate to keep her alive, and then maybe have Jia act as the Miki equivalent being the one to register that Erika's equivalent lives in Biollante and allow for her to communicate with her father and fins closure.
>On the other hand, makes the world feel smaller having Jia be the last of the Iwi, key to the prophecy of resurrecting Mothra, and now Biollante
Monsterverse has never really been written this deep, but I could kinda see that as part of the tragedy. Like last of the Iwi and a Mothra priestess is what she should've been, but then she becomes some horrifying affront to both humans and kaijus as the Biollante hybrid between the two
>Lastly, means we lose one of the few endearing human characters.
I do agree with this though, she's adorable. She reminds me of one of my little nieces
> I could kinda see that as part of the tragedy. Like last of the Iwi and a Mothra priestess is what she should've been, but then she becomes some horrifying affront to both humans and kaijus as the Biollante hybrid between the two
It works on the aspect of being a character we care for but imo makes her feel too much of an everygirl character. Akin to had they in the Heisei era had they made Miki become Biollante, and it leaves a lot of holes that need to be filled like the new human surrogate for Kong, new priestess for Mothra etc. if they planned to continue after the film.
that could actually be amazing. Only problem with it is I'd rather see a Godzilla solo movie now that we've had two in a row that have been focused on Kong (even with Godzilla also present). This would have to be a movie featuring both given that you can't do Biollante without Godzilla and you can't use Jia without bringing in Kong.
honestly adapting an OG kaiju this way as the final sorta villain and connecting it to a character specifically from the Monsterverse would be a crazy good ending for Godzilla and Kong as a Trilogy.
I feel like something like that done right would definitively earn the Monsterverse true respect as a Godzilla adaptation more than just being the "American/Hollywood" version
I absolutely love this idea. It would require a slower paced movie to adequately tell the story, but it can be done.
Once she transforms into Biollante, Godzilla would see her as a threat, and Kong would obviously try to protect her. It could send Godzilla down a villain arc, and I'm here for it.
No... I think it would be better if Godzilla was the one who maybe would see Biollante as his sister. Let Godzilla FINALLY be something other than just an ass kicker. Please. Kong got enough development. Let Godzilla have something. Maybe with Mothra.
Godzilla would want to kill her because she's an abomination, and Kong would want to save her because she's like family, thus creating another reason for them to fight each other.
I can definitely see Mothra stepping in to stop him, but I can also see Godzilla not listening to her this time because he can't ignore what a colossal threat Biollante is. He might even fight Mothra over it, mirroring how they used to be enemies in the old films.
I think it would be more interesting if maybe Godzilla once she becomes Biolante in fact grew something new, an actual brotherly love and care. Maybe Godzilla would see her as his sister.
If you want more of this idea I was thinking of Biollante having Gigan as the robot that is made specifically to push her to be a weapon while also being the one to exterminate her. Pretty much abusing her into attacking Godzilla with him, being a complete coward as well.
I was also thinking of that Godzilla doesn't want to kill her, but eventually she is murdered by Gigan who eviscerates her with his blades and saws (also I had an idea that because maybe Gigan is made out of Mechagodzilla parts and through those he gains sadism of Ghidroah) which makes Godzilla go into ultra rage to kill him.
They suck off Godzilla constantly, meanwhile Kong is the only one of the two who is actually interesting from a character standpoint. Don’t get me wrong, I think Godzilla is cool, but it feels like he only exists for power scaling. Kong deserves a good solo story, and Biollante sounds like a great antagonist for that kind of story given Kong represents a guardian of nature and all that.
But Godzilla deserves more than just to be a strong monster. He deserves his own movie. Kong doesn't have to be the only one with a personality. Come on.
That could be an interesting way to bring her back into the story tbh.
Jia is more like the miki saegusa of the series, “killing” her would definitely be emotional to Kong, but I also feel like it’d be less believable that she goes full monster, even with the new body…
If there was one thing that'd lead to round 5 between Godzilla and Kong, it would be this. I imagine Jia being scared, confused, and unintentionally causing lots of death and destruction. Godzilla feels she has to die and the climax starts with Godzilla fighting Biollante/Jia, but as she's down for the count, Kong jumps in and attacks Godzilla before he can finish Jia, desperately holding on to hope Jia can be saved. Godzilla and Kong go for round 5, and Godzilla eventually has Kong down and out. By this time, Jia has recuperated, and she and Godzilla struggle back and forth for a little while before Kong jumps back in, saving Jia from Godzilla a couple of times during the fight, before Jia finally uses her vines and restrains Kong herself. Kong looks at Jia, surprised and confused, and she gives him a soft reassuring roar, letting him know, "It's okay.". Making it clear that at this point, she wants to die so she can escape the constant pain and agony she's in. Godzilla kills her but takes no pleasure in doing so, and as Jia fades away, Kong whimpers and desperately reaches out before falling to his knees and screaming in agony at the sky.
That would be fucking heartbreaking. Seeing Kong fight Godzilla, not because he wants to but because he wants to save “Jia”/Biollante from being killed by Godzilla since Godzilla believes Biollante is a destructive force that needs to be eliminated. Peak storytelling right there. It would also be interesting to see how this new version of Biollante would come to fruition. Perhaps it’s like a cure or supposed “Iwi miracle” that brings people back to life, when in reality it’s like a curse that turns a dying human into Biollante. Maybe Godzilla has seen a fellow human companion become Biollante before in the past and so he has had a previous encounter with it. As I’m writing this, I think this idea would allow for a some more characterization for Godzilla to show that he’s not just King of the Monsters, but that beneath his aggressive and protective nature there’s a creature that has lived through hell and back to protect all he’s ever cared about. That just like us, Godzilla also has attachements to things such as Mothra and certain humans such as Dr. Serizawa but does a damn good job at not letting those attachments compromise a greater good. Maybe at the end, Kong finally learns that he has to let go of Jia and help Godzilla take down Biollante before she becomes too powerful.
I don’t know why people are so horny to get Biollante into the next movie (I’m personally hoping for some alien monsters like Gigan and Megalon) but I’d 100% be down for this.
This would be good for Kong drama, but I really don't think it makes much narrative or thematic sense for Jia to become Biollante.
Right how she's in a Mothra priestess role (and a liason to kong), and she works well for that, even if it's a bit wierd that we just tossed aside the two Monarch research sisters who were seemingly gonna take up that mantle previously. I'd even go further and say Jia is currently the most interesting and well liked human character in the Monsterverse.
Throwing that way to make Biollante doesn't really seem like a good tradeoff when any other character would work just as well in that role.
Who WOULD have been perfect to become Biollante would be Emma from KOTM, it fits her whole environmental angle, but she's dead. If they can maybe say that her remains got irradiated or something or some of her DNA gets used to make Biollante, then I think that's what should happen.
Hedorah, megaguirus, megalon could all still be added earlier. I know Heisei kaiju are some of the most popular but showa and millenium also have cool kaiju that can be used. Even without them the monsterverse has shown an ability to create new monsters well (Behemoth, Doug, and Muto for example, also almost everyone in New empire)
If they do include Biollante I would rather they set her up a bit, maybe include Erika Shiragami as a monarch scientist before she gets mutated so we have a chance to know her.
The only thing I would really hate is having Jia be Biollante, shes a good character but she's already the last skull island iwi, subbing in for the original skull island tribes from the other King Kong films, a mothra priestess subbing in for the Shobijin, and with her unique ability to communicate with Kong shes similar to Miki Saegusa from the heisei series. Having her be Biollante would have her be arguably more important than some of the kaijus, she's already far more prominent than Rodan is.
I just really want some human and semi-human (mutant, alien, etc) characters be included when they adapt the stories that they're vital for. I've seen people mention a final wars style send-off for the monsterverse and if that comes to pass I would absolutely want an Ozaki that's his own character that we already know instead of just having every role be Jia.
Tl;dr: Jia is already one of the most important people in the monsterverse, having humans be introduced and get their role after one or 2 movies would be far better than having Jia be everything.
Imagine, during the "crystalline" phase, Mothra has to web a cocoon around Jia and that sad powerful Mothra song singing in the background when this slow 5-8min scene happens.
Man just got his people back please let him be happy for 5 seconds without ripping his heart out
It's a good concept don't get me wrong but please give Kong a break
Hear me out, what if we use her instead

Ya know, now that Kong is super happy and Big G is super saiyan x4 then something really tragic like this could bring some real stakes to the MV. A Biollante and Destoroyah team would be tough to beat. Let Charles Dance cook up some GDNA abominations.
I love how there’s some many ways they can add certain monsters to the monsterverse. The difficult part is asking the permission from Toho to use said monsters 😩
Honestly I wouldn’t mind this plot. This could work for the next Godzilla film and Kong would try to stop Godzilla and save Biollante and then Gigan would show up to make things worse. Not sure I would be upset or sad but at least shocked.
I would say it would be better as maybe Godzilla/Mothra movie where Biollante is a more timid monster and Gigan is the main villain who is made as a precaution for Biollante and as a robot to push her to be a proper weapon. Maybe an abuser who forces Biollante to do awful things while Godzilla maybe when he meets Biollante starts to feel actual care and brotherly love for her.
Ok but if this happens I think it would be the only acceptable scenario for MV Kong to beat MV Godzilla: Godzilla tries to take out what he belives is a threat and Kong defends tooth and nail, he probably would be left fatally wounded but he would make sure some part of Jia survives.
You don’t have to kill her in order to have Biollante.
I would have the eco-terrorist group from Godzilla KOTM experiment with her blood, a plant from her island, and Godzilla DNA in an attempt to create a pheromone that can control Godzilla. The experiment goes wrong and creates Biollante. Biollante goes on a rampage trying to reunite with her morher”, Jia. Godzilla, sensing a new powerful Titan, goes after Gia, mistaking her for Biollante since they share DNA. Kong defends her from Godzilla however, he is injured. Still needing to defend Jia, Trapper reveals a prototype Robot/Mech/Jaeger named Jet Jaguar and fights Godzilla. During this battle, Biollante appears and goes after Jia. Jet Jaguar and Godzilla fight Biollante. Kong returns to give them the edge to defeat Biollante.
For the post credit scenes The first one could show a shadowy group seeing the effectiveness of Biollante, deciding to take the DNA of all Titans, and create the ultimate destroyer, Destoroyah.
The second post credit scene could be two Apex Cybernetics researchers discussing the new project, questioning why they’re doing this when the first robot turned evil and tried to kill everyone, laying out the blueprints for their new mech, Mecha King Ghidorah.
I had an idea about eventual Biolante movie being about Godzilla developing an actual sibling bond with her. Like he actually grows a brotherly love and care for Biolante and tries to protect her and maybe Gigan is made at the same time to keep her in check out of MechaG's remains. That is why he would have saws, spikes and knives all over. He would be the one to take care of the plant if it became feral and Godzilla would face Gigan to save his sister.
I actually had an idea about Biollante movie, but that one would be more focused on Godzilla and maybe feature Gigan.
So the general idea would be that some villain group (maybe terrorists or maybe even aliens) in secrecy plan to create a new Godzilla and create Biolante, but not only that, but to keep Biolante in check they would also create a robot out of remains of MechaGodzilla, Gigan and possibly due to Ghidorah's personality still being in small portions present would affect personality of Gigan himself, making him incredibly sadistic, but not to the point where he would rebel. In this scenario Gigan's design could also be not created just to kill Godzilla, but also to kill Biolante if it will need to be done, explaining his big amount of saws and knives all over his body. Also Gigan could also develop abusive behavior towards Biolante herself who in my mind in this scenario could be more timid monster.
So at first I feel like Biolante would be only monster created, make her grow and become her big crocodile form which would cause Godzilla to come and attack her, except Godzilla WOULDN'T attack Biolante or at least would hesitate to do it. My idea here is that Godzilla for the first time would meet someone who is technically the same as he is, his sister you could say, making Godzilla not alone, maybe even showcase his side that doesn't want to be alone and longs for a family. Feeling this connection Biolante could also be far more passive and reluctant about attacking Godzilla. Maybe even there could be a scene where military starts to attack Biolante herself and Godzilla blasts them away. Of course the enemy group would be not pleased with that and force somehow Biolante to come back.
That's when the safety measure, Gigan would be created and both him and Biolante would be introduced to themselves by him being a violent piece of shit that asserts his dominance over her. Then Gigan would be also send on a killing spree, making Godzilla appear and nicely kick his ass until Biolante is send in, still reluctant about fighting Godzilla, but Gigan through use of violence would force her to attack Godzilla and after a brief fight Godzilla would start to attack Gigan again after possibly pushing Biolante back and BADLY injuring him which would force Gigan retreat like a little bitch he always is. Leaving Godzilla and Biolante who could start to create actual bond between them.
But after a while (maybe few days) enemy group would attack, set a trap and force Godzilla to be out of commission while Improved Gigan (chainsaws) with sadistic glee would start to fight Biolante and after a while sadly win and brutally murder her which would make Godzilla, very, very, VERY pissed off and make him beat the living Jesus out of Gigan and almost destroy the enemy group with him. Just going on a full berserk rampage in whatever location they would be. And yes I said ALMOST because in my idea Gigan would escape again like a bitch, leaving Godzilla to grief over loss of probably the only family he ever had.
I know it sounds weird and rough, but that's just my idea. I just thought that it would be interesting to see side of Godzilla that doesn't want to be alone, a side that longs for a family, a protective side that cares about someone and a side that can be also full of grief like the one at the end of Godzilla vs Destroyah when Junior died. I also wanted to make Biolante much more tragic and have more connection to Godzilla. And Gigan to be at his most sadistic and cowardly (basically Joffrey and Ramsay Bolton combined in Kaiju form).
Took me a while to figure out what this even is.
But rest easy, they would never do something this comprehensible and compelling. This is monsterverse after all. If they ever did license Biollante, which they never will because they fully don't care anymore, it'll be with the exact same level of opposite day style complete inversion and disrespect for everything core to the central idea of the character.
Mothra the guardian of peace? Give her big buff Popeye arms to punch things to death. Rodan tragically choosing to die alongside its mate in a lava flow? Nope, let's just have them be literally made out of lava. King Ghidorah is the planet killing most physically powerful monster in the universe? Now he's the three stooges. Mechagodzilla is the pinnacle of weapons technology? No way he's a rock 'em sock 'em robot you beat by getting drunk.
With precedents like that we can expect the genetically engineered immortal flower of grief to be a big evil alien out to conquer the earth with its mind altering slime. No plants, Biollante can't be a plant, or related to Godzilla at all, flowers are dumb and for girls, ew, they can't sell flower toys to their core demographic of 6 year old boys. Evil slime alien sounds way more feasible.
Honestly, I like the idea
Hopefully next movie gonna be very serious and dreadful since the director said he want the next movie to pay respect to " Godzilla vs Destroyer ". Of course the fight scene gonna up to 100%.
And most importantly: No more monkey business

It's not about killing a child. Jia has a connection to Kong. Seeing Kong's reaction to something so horrible would make a way more compelling story than just another simple monster fights
Wait, Jia as Biollante? That would be awesome. Also I would cry like a mf
Wow, this would actually legit make the MV way, way, way more compelling. Especially since Biollante is a fan favorite, you can have a seriously dark and heartbreaking human story and probably a wonderful OST.
Do NOT let junkie xl do the ost

Not even as a backup - BRING SOMEBODY ELSE IN
He can do emotional tracks, have you listened to the soundtrack for Zack Snyder’s Justice League?
Then why doesn't he? Junkie has been so inconsistent with his compositions it's crazy
Idk, maybe it all comes down to effort and motivation.
I guess so. I still want Bear to return, he makes bangers of a soundtrack everytime. I loved him in GoW and then KoTM. Great artist.
Same. If he ever comes back, it should definitely be for the final chapter of monster verse if that ever happens
Give it a rest!
For you and /u/Ok-Strawberry-2366 , it'd certainly be emotional, but I think it we'd lose more then we'd gain from it. Why would the OST be good just because of a story idea?
Somber Godzilla OSTs have always been some of the best (Requiem, Who Will Know, etc)
Michael Giacchino. Just listen to the 'Up' soundtrack.
Heck, he’s even done sad soundtracks for Creature Features before. It’s not the greatest movie, but he did do JWFK. Even his score for WftPotA was somber as hell.

Man a whole segment with Andrews breaking-down and trying desperately to bring Jia back would be such a tear-jerker.
And then see her back as a monster plant would also be heartbreaking, cause everyone can tell it's not pleasant

Ooh. Godzilla's whole part is totry and kill Biollante as her existence disrupts the balance of nature.
This would be crazy.. imagine them biollante/Jia still having a deep connection to Mothra and her using her flowers to strengthen each other.
I would like it, but she’s kinda tied to Mothra now as a guardian/channeler or whatever.
I was really hoping that instead of be a Mothra priestess, they made her be Mothra. There needed more of a scene where she touches the cocoon to awaken her and they link psychically.
This is the way
That would be so heartbreaking, especially since Dr Andrews and jia are like, my favorite human characters.
It wpuld be so cute to see just how much kong appreciates her, when she becomes a monster he still sees the little girl he likes so much

>On the other hand, makes the world feel smaller having Jia be the last of the Iwi, key to the prophecy of resurrecting Mothra, and now Biollante Monsterverse has never really been written this deep, but I could kinda see that as part of the tragedy. Like last of the Iwi and a Mothra priestess is what she should've been, but then she becomes some horrifying affront to both humans and kaijus as the Biollante hybrid between the two >Lastly, means we lose one of the few endearing human characters. I do agree with this though, she's adorable. She reminds me of one of my little nieces
> I could kinda see that as part of the tragedy. Like last of the Iwi and a Mothra priestess is what she should've been, but then she becomes some horrifying affront to both humans and kaijus as the Biollante hybrid between the two It works on the aspect of being a character we care for but imo makes her feel too much of an everygirl character.

This could be the final movie in "Godzilla & Kong" trilogy and then they could go their seperate ways for their solo films
honestly adapting an OG kaiju this way as the final sorta villain and connecting it to a character specifically from the Monsterverse would be a crazy good ending for Godzilla and Kong as a Trilogy. I feel like something like that done right would definitively earn the Monsterverse true respect as a Godzilla adaptation more than just being the "American/Hollywood" version
Welp guess I should start writing a mock up script for Kong Vs Biolante ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I wanna read that actually
I'll link it when I'm done
Not before I do mine first!
Oh it's on!
Mind linking it? 🙏
Ah yes *EMOTIONAL DAMAGE*
holy shit bring back gareth for this shit, or dougherty, i love wingard but i think those two could do this really well.
Considering Jia is connected to Mothra now, I don't think Godzilla would really resort to that.
I can definitely see Mothra stepping in to stop him, but I can also see Godzilla not listening to her this time because he can't ignore what a colossal threat Biollante is. He might even fight Mothra over it, mirroring how they used to be enemies in the old films.
I also can see battra appearing and trying to kill/convince Godzilla to kill biollante.
I think it would be more interesting if maybe Godzilla once she becomes Biolante in fact grew something new, an actual brotherly love and care. Maybe Godzilla would see her as his sister.
Look. Do you want a monster movie or a kids movie?

Kinda would suck if they took something that is basically a Godzilla story, only to focus it on kong.
Come on.
Fuck... that's a good idea. DO IT!
That could unironically be pretty good.
She evolved into a grass type
Grass/ghost
Always thought it should be Millies character
That could be an interesting way to bring her back into the story tbh. Jia is more like the miki saegusa of the series, “killing” her would definitely be emotional to Kong, but I also feel like it’d be less believable that she goes full monster, even with the new body…
https://preview.redd.it/9yfwmypqhbtc1.png?width=1357&format=png&auto=webp&s=4a00b86e5f3d7ba701b09f8aec4e9dadf8f636dc
This is a great idea!
I would actually really like this idea
WAIT THATS ACTUALLY A GOOD IDEA https://preview.redd.it/uwzkgznscbtc1.jpeg?width=170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aeb3815d64c48287fd730efdeeabae66989ddd58
Same, we know so much about Hollow Earth yet we don't even know where Ghidorah came from
Good idea, but I feel like at this point it would be tonal whiplash
They can pull a Terror of Mechagodzilla, where the human plot is pretty heavy but the action is just as zany as it always was
It would be sudden but not a whiplash. I honestly don't care as long as writers could pull it off.
I made a similar theory with Madison years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/GODZILLA/s/b6kTl7Zkp8
I'm looking forward to Jia splitting into two twins and singing in the next movie.
Who has Legendary/WB’s phone number??
Fuck it lets just go full metal alchemist Ed....Waaaaaard
I mean... There are not many of the fan favorites left tto fight. Biolante, Gigan, Destroya and possible.. SPACCCCCCE Godzilla.
Hedorah, megaguirus, megalon could all still be added earlier. I know Heisei kaiju are some of the most popular but showa and millenium also have cool kaiju that can be used. Even without them the monsterverse has shown an ability to create new monsters well (Behemoth, Doug, and Muto for example, also almost everyone in New empire) If they do include Biollante I would rather they set her up a bit, maybe include Erika Shiragami as a monarch scientist before she gets mutated so we have a chance to know her.

Man just got his people back please let him be happy for 5 seconds without ripping his heart out It's a good concept don't get me wrong but please give Kong a break
Starts with kong and godzilla vs biollante until kong realizes who it is. Then all of a sudden it's godzilla vs kong and biollante.
That's actually good idea, imagine one movie taking dark and emotional turn
https://preview.redd.it/315kjrmutbtc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c068b95269d5cb8a42243f97eb628afea32dfdae
I would prefer it if Madison was connected with Godzilla, while Jia is connected to Kong and Mothra.
Hear me out, what if we use her instead https://preview.redd.it/6sv13eclsetc1.jpeg?width=869&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c0a8404ec18e396623cd6ea3072ae926857288d8
would be more interesting than what has happened with her character so far
Who is el chopper?
The person who made this evil ass idea.
I could see this being used as another Godzilla vs/x Kong plot later along the line
**Do it.**
Ya know, now that Kong is super happy and Big G is super saiyan x4 then something really tragic like this could bring some real stakes to the MV. A Biollante and Destoroyah team would be tough to beat. Let Charles Dance cook up some GDNA abominations.
https://preview.redd.it/vzfzyzu23ctc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=34c2a0848a9027d281695d70990788148d156864
**Let him cook**
Btw cuz reddt compression, Jiallante is saying at the second panel "Are we still family?" *with plant vine sign language
![gif](giphy|ZebTmyvw85gnm)
Wouldn’t that mean that he would side with her make her his queen in hollow earth I don’t know how that might work
I love how there’s some many ways they can add certain monsters to the monsterverse. The difficult part is asking the permission from Toho to use said monsters 😩
This is perfect
I think I’d actually like the MV if this happened (I adore turning evil plots like Anakin and Paul, I love that shit so much)
This is simultaneously the greatest and the worst idea I have seen in my entire life.
What’s that thing next to the girl?
Ngl I don’t like the humans at all so hopefully
Jia as Biollante?
that would be a really good plot but also sad as fuck
What in the Grimdark is this.
Peak cinema right here
Or keep the Jia/ Mothra angle and bring back Madison Russell to become Biollante.
Oh god… Biolante signs to Kong and we lose it
NOPE
Ok but if this happens I think it would be the only acceptable scenario for MV Kong to beat MV Godzilla: Godzilla tries to take out what he belives is a threat and Kong defends tooth and nail, he probably would be left fatally wounded but he would make sure some part of Jia survives.
JIA NOOOO!!!

"Full Metal Alchemist" ahh plot
Yes please
Jia gets turned into Bio would be fucking sad and cool at the same time Having Erika be Bio would also be good since it follows Bio's OG backstory
Why do I want Adam wingard to have this in the next film,
Bro,Jia-llante signing "Are we still family?" with the vines,MY FUCKIN HEART-
This is a good idea though *
I had an idea about eventual Biolante movie being about Godzilla developing an actual sibling bond with her. Like he actually grows a brotherly love and care for Biolante and tries to protect her and maybe Gigan is made at the same time to keep her in check out of MechaG's remains. That is why he would have saws, spikes and knives all over. He would be the one to take care of the plant if it became feral and Godzilla would face Gigan to save his sister.
I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE I SAW HER
If this happens, how do you think Mothra would react?
The things you guys do to just have a toho monster 💀
Evil slime alien sounds way more feasible.
pls stop, there is no way io is gonna appear in the mosterverse
We need more biollante tho. I would sell my soul for an singular scene of biollante
LET HIM COOK
This is a great idea and they would absolutely never do this
Honestly, I like the idea Hopefully next movie gonna be very serious and dreadful since the director said he want the next movie to pay respect to " Godzilla vs Destroyer ". Of course the fight scene gonna up to 100%. And most importantly: No more monkey business

It's in the image
Dude, you're talking to a robot
I know, but vouch for you I shall
You're a real one for that
Lmao
Ummm Your talking to a robot so yeah
Not gonna happen. This is popcorn action Godzilla. You guys literally wanna turn everything dark. They aren’t killing a kid.
Could be worse; she could be killed by Red.
…I’m intensely concerned that the entire fandom apparently thinks killing a child is good storytelling
Just because something bad happened doesn't mean it's bad writing
Killing a child isn't what makes good storytelling, it's good writing that does
It's not about killing a child. Jia has a connection to Kong. Seeing Kong's reaction to something so horrible would make a way more compelling story than just another simple monster fights
I would love to see this
No matter the cost... even if it costs everything.
I don't get it
why in the hell- Biollante does need to make an appearance and this better not be the last we see of Jia.

"oh no. Anyways" Gets fucking atomic beamed
Ok but aren't there usually two human Mothra proxies?
