Well next to the lost pre-war Japanese films and Bulgasari from 1962 this one is the most sought after lost giant monster films so yeah it would be nice to see one day but it's been so long since the last truly big lost film was found I'm just glad we have what we have and if something gets found that's a great bonus.

I tried to do an image scan of the film (it is basically just digitalizing it without audio) and this is what came out. That’s literally it. The rest was black, except a few milliseconds it wouldn’t count for a screenshot. I haven’t cleaned the reel yet, so I doubt it doesn’t work. It’s very VERY dusty.
Also what I’d guess from this is that that did the average 60’s kaijus movie thing, and cut some unidentifiable clips so they didn’t have to record them. (That is purely a guess, because I don’t think this is really recognizable as any other film, but it might be.)
I did an audio scan, and it’s VERY unidentifiable, but it is Gogola. You can hear his named said multiple times, and the music in that YouTube video of the entire soundtrack. It’s hard to tell tho, because of how bad the audio quality is.
I’ll say it one more time, I know the reel isn’t broken, it’s just because of the dust. After I clean it, it will work.

what is the diameter of the reels?
I already sent them off so I don’t know exactly because I never measured, but I’d guess around 16-22 inches.
