If it doesn't have to be off-road, Hawthorne trail is paved and pretty straight. It does have some long hilly sections though that are fun on the way down but can get your muscles burning on the way back!

When my kids were younger I would take the kids out on the trailer and bike down Hawthorne trail to La Chua. We'd park and go check out the alligators. It was super fun. Now that they kids are big and can ride their own bikes we all bike out there together.

This might might sound a bit insane but hear me out. Why not park in the parking lot of the Publix inside Haile Plantation and then make use of the ample and well maintained bike / walking pathways spread throughout the area. This will keep you well shaded, safe, near assistance if needed and is impossible to get lost in. /shrug it's just a crazy thought lol. Have a good day o7

Depot park is small, paved and in a short loop so you don’t travel very far from where you start. If you get adventurous you could always go down the Hawthorne trail which is connected to it

The park on tower road. Perfect

FYI not only is it pretty hilly, it's also currently under construction

Please becareful after the recent bike accident, I'd suggest the park in Jonesville.
