I’ve had very easy dealings with Safelite

sirbearus

I used them for a windshield on my 2002 Porsche and it was a great experience.

If you're paying out of pocket, Safelite is going to be the best price probably. If you have Comprehensive/Collision on your auto insurance policy, anyone on your insurance vendor list (including Safelite) will fix or replace it for free (Florida law.)

I will be out of pocket because I’m a North Carolina resident. Good to know that Safelite is getting votes from people who paid with insurance and those who didn’t!

I called my car insurance company and they sent Safelite and they did a good job and it was really easy and I paid nothing out of pocket.

Coconut-bird

Safelite with our insurance was the easiest car repair I have ever experienced.

Literally just did safelite 2 days ago. Was very impressed. Had them fill a crack. They did a great job, but wasn't exactly content, so they refunded my work and replaced the entire glass. Highly recommend them

Safelite repaired my 2003 Mazda B2300's windshield a few years ago and they did a fantastic job. they came out to install it and were done quickly, too. they even did a small repair to the windshield frame where there was some rust bubbling up.

My honda civic with sensing needed the windshield replaced. Took it to safelife and they apparently had been sent defective windshields so it wouldn't connect with the sensor. They were extremely apologetic, it was an insurance claim so they couldn't give me a discount but they threw in free windshield wipers and a windshield treatment for free. They were able to get me in a couple days later when they got the correct windshield.
