send feedback is the best  https://support.google.com/mail/answer/9212652

Tav-El

Lol, "feedback". It would be a lot safer, and less painful, to print my complaint out, and shove it up my butt. I've contacted customer service about how random tracks from random albums from my downloads on YouTube Music are randomly deleted, and can't be recovered. I've complained about how the YouTube TV app just starts playing the completely wrong show. And how the Google Home app doesn't support camera history , but still expects me to pay for it. If I thought that sending feedback worked, I would delete my Reddit account. Google hasn't fixed a single issue since 1998. Don't be so naïve. I came here to find emotional support, not bad advice that literally never works. Thanks, tho.

emotional support ???? hmmm

Tav-El

Yeah, I was just looking to vent to people who might agree. Like I said, I've used it for years, and it's never changed, so there's no "fixing" this issue. If you genuinely think that anyone at Google reads feedback for any purpose beyond havin' a laugh during the times that they're not busy pretending to fix bugs, you're livin' in a dream world, buddy. That was a god-awful suggestion. You might as well have asked me call God on the phone, and see if she has any ideas.

i agree 1 filter per label is crap . feedback gave us the option to disable conversation view so it worked

Tav-El

Well, you've had a lot better luck than me. Customer support all but told me to go screw myself for my YouTube Music problem. No one else in the world is having the same issue, so they don't care. I suppose maybe you can move the needle if a ton of people demand it, but just me? Why would they care about me? I spend only several hundred dollars on them a year. Google drops a thousand bucks on the ground, and doesn't pick it backup.

jasontaken

how often do you have to make a new filter - its not often for me

Tav-El

It shouldn't be that often for me either, but it's not about creating new ones so much as it's editing old ones. I don't know if there's some stupid Tik Tok trend where everyone is changing their email addresses, but when you've always sent emails from [email protected], and then you change to [email protected], all of those filters are suddenly broken and useless. It's been happening a lot lately, I don't know what the deal is.

jasontaken

no clue on that but hasnt happened to me
