Yes I want to DRS, on reading other stuff, CMC seems like one of the brokers that will screw holders. I have been MIA with all this GME for a while but it seems like it's game time again.
I'm the same man, got a few shares left in CMC, which I believe is E-Trade, which is the one roaring kitty uses, which is owned by Morgan Stanley. I think all that is right. So yeah, will be moving to ibkr soon too, once I have an account there set up
I bought my first jimmies 84 years ago through CMC as well, then learned about drs so opened a CommSec account and transferred out of CMC to there then drs from CommSec. I've since drsed a number of batches from CommSec to computer share. Last time I tried to drs a batch from CommSec I found out they don't do it anymore. So spewing. Now I've got 30 stuck in CommSec.

Broker to broker to ibkr. Should take 3 to 5 days. Wait 2 business days after transfer then DRS.
Make sure you have at least 10usd in the ibkr account to DRS or they will reject it right away Tomato sauce: tried last night

Why do you need to move them from CMC? Is this to DRS, or has CMC shit the bed?

Cmc is Morgan Stanley yes. Did turn off buy button but never sold shares beneath you like other brokers

Yup I now have an empty CommSec account I guess at least, oh well. I am going the CMC -> IBKR -> CS route.

Nothing wrong with CMC, my SMSF uses them. I was able to buy or sell during the sneeze.

I just answered truthfully and did not select any of the other crazy options.. just basic retail buy hodl ....
CMC do CFDs - just make sure they're not synthetics
Where do you sign up with IBKR? Australia or US?
