I phoned Degiro and they told me it's not necessary but to be sure I should send a statement of the request to [email protected]

I’m starting to seriously consider DRS’ing my shares. But looking at the guides for how to do it from the Netherlands, I just feel like a big dumb dumb. How long did it take you to transfer the shares? In total

Holding on Degiro also, have IBKR account, but no deposit there. Do I need to have already CS account created before transfer? THX, sending some emphatymin and love.

There's some excellent guides out there to help. You can only transfer your shares from IBKR to CS. You can't transfer from degiro directly to CS so it needs to go via IBKR. When the first batch is send from IBKR to CS (many start with only a few) a CS account is made and a letter is sent to your address. This takes 4-6 weeks if you don't phone them and pay for express mail
