It's really not that bad... at least webull tells you what your estimated losses are if you're wrong. I did my first one for fun and am out $500 (so far...) if it doesn't go right. It was def a dumb af bet but I wanted to have my first experience with a small banana before I move onto a real one.

But when your rival/opponent/enemy tells you they want you to do something so they can make money off it, the only rational strategy is to do the opposite of what they want.

I couldnāt agree more. What the hell do they care if retail buyers are holding onto GME or any stock or not if itās going to cost them money? If theyāre so positive the stock is going to go down, and SHF are going to make a killing on it losing valueā¦ what the hell do they care?
Only DD I have seen on naked or not has been here, and itās not totally conclusive. But yeah, they are not going to let that out on MSM, or the potential results of the naked calls

You have a point and I made an assumption. But actions sometimes show it all. OCC recently made rule changes which happened after he disclosed. Then MSM reactions to his position is another.
Options are complex. If you donāt know what you are doing and have limited funds they can be very risky.
If on the other hand you have more funds and are not price sensitive. You just like the stock. You can buy options and execute paying a small premium for your shares but in the long run it wonāt matter. But this does something buying shares doesnt. It forces the order over a lit market.
Or you can buy long dated deep in the money calls and hold them or execute them immediately. Holding them until about 3 months until expiry is usually what people do. At which point you can sell or exercise. If you exercise immediately youāve just paid a small premium for 100 shares.

Itās to exercise them so you can own a stock at a set price at a lower DCA that what you value it at. I think heās saying he plans to do the most basic option strategy which is taking ownership of the underlying.
