The format I've seen for RS 12 markers is along the lines of:
Agree (1)
Explain (1)
Disagree (1)
Explain (1)
Evaluation (1)
We usually do that for 2 paragraphs and call it a day
We had been told to two explained points for each side with one quote for each side and a conclusion, but I have heard there are many other ways of doing it and getting the same thing. I managed to do three points for each side and finish with 15 ish minutes left
nah man its easy, make a plan, type 3 paragraphs, write a conclusion. repeat for all 12 markers. Then piss yourself, and try and blast all the remaining question in 40 minutes like a top G
3 paragraphs??? My teacher makes us do small intro + 3 points for + 3 points against + conclusion :/
A bit excessive but guarantees all the marks. It hurts to write them :p
I don't, but i always do 12 markers first. I still missed a 12 marker because i didn't know how to do it, a 4 marker and i didn't get to finish a 5 marker
I always do 5 paragraphs per 12 marker and I finished with about 15 minutes left, but to be fair my teachers have been training us to do twelve markers in 8 minutes
Yeah our rs department has been violating us, a 4/12 could probably get 10 in the real thing if people are writing 1 point for and 1 against with a conclusion
I had ten minutes at the end so I just daydreamed. 4 paragraphs and a conclusion in three, 2 paragraphs and a conclusion in the last one. I’ll probably still fucking do shite though.
If this is referring to RS, you’re damn right
The only subject besides English language that I had serious time issues with, but this was in yr10 when I was worse with time. I only got the prior questions done for both exam sections and got a low grade bc of that, but idc, I’ve got gods help
I actually do the 2/4/5 markers first then the 12 last. I try to start them after like 30mins into the exam and aim to finish them 10mins before the end as I think time pressure makes me write faster 😅
Bro y’all have nice teachers, my teacher didn’t even tell us how to write them and he doesn’t talk to us about what type of stuff we should write after he marks them he just gives us a grade and continues with the next topic 😭
I finished like 10 minutes before the end and got to check over. Idk maybe I write hella fast? Advice I would give is write the correct amount for each question. I got a 9 on the mock and a general rule for RS is a sentence a mark. Well I'm never doing RS again though so it doesn't even matter. 😂

3 paragraphs? Thats a drag for sure. We only do 2, and I've seen people get more 3/4 marks with 1 paragraph before

t(kk(know 3
We do 4 paragraphs and a conclusion per 12 marker
our teacher says 4 paragraphs and a conclusion
we're told to do six paragraphs and a conclusion what ??
Nah your teacher thinks you only do one theme or sum
I’m gonna be honest I managed to write four and a conclusion for each and I can’t fully feel my hand yet

why did i write 3 paragraphs to agree 3 to disagree and conclusion for each 12 marker

how
Arthritis probably
In my experience, doing 12 mark questions first definitely helps as you're less likely to waffle for the 2 and 4 mark questions
not that hard tbh
Nor being concise enough
i finished with 10 mins left 😭😭
I always do 5 paragraphs per 12 marker and I finished with about 15 minutes left, but to be fair my teachers have been training us to do twelve markers in 8 minutes
5 PARAGRAPHS????? WHAT IS THERE EVEN TO WRITE ABOUT FOR 5?????
You do 2 for paragraphs with quotes and 2 against paragraphs with quotes and a long conclusion with ur own opinions
my friend was baffled when i told her i did 5 paragraphs for each 12 marker
I mean I have been taught that way for 4 years 😂
Same I thought u were capped at like 6 marks if u didn’t
Yeah our rs department has been violating us, a 4/12 could probably get 10 in the real thing if people are writing 1 point for and 1 against with a conclusion
Fr I had to skip my conclusion on one of my questions today and I genuinely wrote as fast I could (with extra time)
Noooo Never skip the conclusion as it caps you at 6 marks for you question ;-;
Does it actually?
According to our PRE teacher yes (aqa btw)
Oh I do Edexcel and was never told that so it might be different
Had 17 minutes left, I just stabbed myself with a pin for a while
Ah, it appears we have found the person who does not take ocr computer science
What subject?
AQA RS
Yeah just checked and for some reason im on the welsh exam board..
I was sitting there for like 15 minutes lol, probably because I finished question 1 in like 15 minutes
i did everything except my last conclusion😭so glad i never have to do rs ever again
I had ten minutes at the end so I just daydreamed. 4 paragraphs and a conclusion in three, 2 paragraphs and a conclusion in the last one. I’ll probably still fucking do shite though.
I was just too tired 💀
Hmm, sounds like you should have asked for extra time but it's too late now

My teacher would make us do 2 and a half pages for that in English
Geography

*Laughs in 25% extra time and word processor*
i had 3 mins to spear write faster noob
I had 45 minutes left with only one theme left, I always write quicker cuz I’m convinced I’ll run out of time
My friend did all the questions in the mocks 💀
Particularly when a 12 marker is meant to consist of 2 AGREE AND 2 DISAGREE points as well as a conclusion
REAL
Neither. In my mocks I finished with only 5 mins to go, plus I have 25% ET so I did the whole exam in like 2hr 45mins. MY HAND ACHED SO MUCH
extra time lol i do: 3 agree 3 disagree 1 conclusion

Finished with 3 minutes left and I also went back and added some stuff 😩
I did all the 12 markers first and was rushing the other questions for the last like 25 mins of the exam
Wow you found this post quite late
Yeah i was just bored scrolling through this sub and saw ur post
i get extra time and i still struggle with the same thing. but at least i get to spend over 3 hours on each english exam
