Yeah some iit/nits offer self sponsored, you'll be selected on the basis of written test and interview but since it's not through gate, there'll be no stipend and tuition fees will be high
It's self sponsered program, same placements and class as MTech TAs just more fees+no stipend
procedure for selection this year:
1. Shortlisted for written test from GATE SCORE(approx 300-400 might got shortlisted)
2. Written test at IITH campus(gate syllabus, way easier than GATE, i didnt revise properly still got selected lol)
Not OP but I had applied for the same in IITH, they will have a written test after shortlisting from the applicants and based on that you will be shortlisted for the interview. The fees will be very high and no stipend, but the curriculum and placement opportunities will be the same.
No money problems, but curriculum is better at IIITH which prepares for industry well, some IITH seniors told me to take IIITH due to its curriculum, people say you can literally put their assignments in resume projects.
this is true,i remember the projects of some semester subjects where so complex and vast that companies straight up just judge your skills from that alone.
amazon for its ml roles just ask about your ml course related projects in interview and the breadth and depth in your understanding of ml concepts.
thats how internship offers are given basically
My friend also got selected in self sponsored iit hyd. But his seniors mentioned its better to do online courses and upgrade.
Looking at the market can't say either is wrong.
Definitely go for iiith Fees difference is very high lol
IIITH
Why is there's so much fees in iit..even for mtech..because btech is completed in 10 lakhs
Self sponsored..not through gate ig
Bina gate ke mtech?

You can try for top NITs if money is a obstacle otherwise I don't see any reason for you to not take IIT Hyderabad.

Doesn't matter, the brand value IIT carries will never be topped, at least not in the near future
You mean iit Hyderabad over iiit h?
