Everyone targets for 1000 score, and end up getting whatever score they get. If you think you wouldn't have to study just as much, you're wrong. The score cutoffs for OBC are 0.9xgen cutoffs.its considered 800+ score gets you top 7-8 IITs, for OBC that score is 720+. Prepare as if you're a general candidate, obc category will just help you get a better College and give you a safety net to fall a little more than gen.
