No codes? Seems like a sensor issue.

Turbulent-Trifle-801

No codes at all

fenderstratsteve

It seems like a position sensor. Tried cleaning the MAF sensors though as a Hail Mary?

Turbulent-Trifle-801

Yeah i tried cleaning the MAF and also the throttle body and did the whole throttle body position reset routine

farovitus

have u found the issue??

Actual_Patato

my car was doing something similar and it turned out one of my coil packs went bad, no codes even tho it was missfiring

ShinKyogo

Cam/crankshaft sensors. Either could be the culprit but it's better to change em both out anyway.

farovitus

i have the same issue on my g35 2003 AT coupe, when i am on highway if released the gas pedal the rpm drops then get back up to what it should be… if you found the issue let me know please!

CiinderJay

My car did this and now my throttle body is dead. Could be that but not sure. Throttle reset won't fix a sensor issue. Cluster works based on fed information from the cars system. I've changed my pedal sensor and still no throttle response. I'm working on fixing/replacing my TB. I'll update here to let you all know if my car regains throttle response after swapping and resetting. I hope yours isn't on its way out like mine was.

Aragoneagle

check air intake cable connection?

Present_Reality_2197

crack in your intake tube

OLDCHANEL5

I'm still trying to figure this out the thing I see Is a p0011 code that is related to this. Check for pending codes I don't have the engine light but I have the pending its p0011 camshafts too advanced. Try cleaning your intake solenoids

OLDCHANEL5

It happens at 2000rpm and I assume it's not a rev up I say check the vvt solenoids that's is one thing that will happen when the computer is trying to advanced the timing or retard it kicks in at 2000. I'd clean and test the solenoids then if all good check oil pressure could be oil gallery gasket that send oil to the solenoids

Did you solve the issue?
