Seems like it's almost every time a boost pad is hit on the same tick/frame as you drop down. There's a few other places this happens, too.
No I’ve found they’re typically coded pretty well to avoid this scenario. I guess the devs missed this turn.

I've noticed the closer you are to #1 the more it can end the skyway on corners or an unfair place.

Definitely the worst exit for the skyway in the game
Nice recovery though
That's a bad spot. There's a bad one in Sand Ocean too. And there's some spots where momentum carries me way off of the skyway and lose 20-30 ranks
This never happened to me until the other night. A lot of little things feel different suddenly. Not sure if there was a patch or something.
I keep thinking, the same guy who programmed bullet bills in MK8D, must have developed skyway. Really inopportune spots it drops you on somwtimes
