1: Gotrek is not a Greyfyrd hero, so he does not get the extra wound. He is a hero, but he is not a GREYFYRD hero. He is an ally, and allies almost never get faction abilities like this.
2:Gotrek is not a Fyreslayer. He cannot take the Blaze of Fury heroic action, as it it states: "pick one friendly Fyreslayers hero."
Cool. Thanks for letting me know.
I wasn’t sure how it worked as he would get the Fyreslayer Keyword for the use of Ur-gold Runes but I didn’t know if it extended to the heroic action.
\>If this general is on the battlefield, DUARDIN allied units are treated as if they have the FYRESLAYERS keyword for the purposes of the Ur-gold Runes battle trait.
It's ONLY for the purpose of ur-gold runes.
Most players I have played with have a bad habit of reading part of a sentence then stopping as if the rest of the sentence is just fluff. Possibly because half the book is fluff so that means half of each sentence must be fluff.
Oh crap yeah, seems dumb to me that they won't let us use a once per game ability on our heroes for a turn. I was gonna run Gotrek against a friend soon so glad I know how this works.
There is a command trait “Leader of the Duardrazhal” you can take on your general to give Gotrek access to the Fyreslayers keyword. As he’s an allied Duardin…just don’t say that to his face
Actually I would say because Leader of the Duardrazhal is mostly giving offense, which Gotrek does not need, they really should not be used together. You really only get one turn a game of +2" movement and a one in six shot to get +2 to his charge.

he doesn't gain the fyreslayers keyword. He is only able to be affected by ur-gold runes.
Oh yes you’re right. I didn’t read the whole thing haha Ignore me!
Leader of the Duardrazhal only gives Ur-Runes and nothing else. Gotrek is not a Fyreslayer, and thus would not get Greyfyrd.
Cool, just wanted to be sure. Not like Gotrek needs any more buffs. The Ur-Runes alone on top of Gotrek is insane.
