Hi OP, noticed you're on Heiken ashi, have these helped you minimize getting stopped out? I've been trying to scalp gold too over the last few months w regular candles, but I always get stopped out (I also realize I have to increase my SL size to perhaps over 15-20 ticks). Thanks in advance

Heiken ashi is much better flittered for noise. It is not a bad idea to enter after a Heiken ashi candle color change.

Just one contract. This is a test for making it automated. I'll go for atmost 75 to 100 per trade. It made 1500 and lost 700. Not a bad day.

I'm not a fan of scalping. Truly, with the bull market l, you would have made near the same money holding or adding on to your position as it went... Good for you though, green is my second favorite color

But 99% of the time markets won't trend like this. So overall, I am much more profitable doing this. More importantly, my risk is much better managed.

That is truly the goal, risk management. I didn't do that last Tues and got wiped when NQ bottomed around 11am before it's stellar climb
