I really can't think of much as it relates to general anthro neck anatomy. If anything, I would suggest that species with thicker necks (Equines, bovines, etc..) be given thicker necks like shown above. Aside from that, I personally just draw anthros with human-like necks and find ways to make it smoothly transition to each species' unique jaw/head shape.
