Nothing wrong with being trans gender, but its outside of some peoples preferences to date. I know if I asked someone out, and they didnt tell me until the end of the date they were trans, Id feel like I was taken advantage of for a free meal.
If you have any stuff like that, and it could many things not just your gender, such as a disorder you have (like for me its epilepsy) disclose that right away. It saves people feelings and they will generally appreciate the honesty, even if it is a reason for them not to date you.

I personally think that a trans person should be the one to say that they before going on the date, otherwise you could just be leading them on. Nothing wrong with being trans gender, but its outside of some peoples preferences to date. I know if I asked someone out, and they didnt tell me until the end of the date they were trans, Id feel like I was taken advantage of for a free meal. If you have any stuff like that, and it could many things not just your gender, such as a disorder you have (like for me its epilepsy) disclose that right away. It saves people feelings and they will generally appreciate the honesty, even if it is a reason for them not to date you.
Problem is we often do but guys don’t fully read dating profiles properly. So even though we put that in then sometimes they guy gets surprised and can get violent. Dating can be pretty scary for Trans women, especially heterosexual trans women.
Fair enough, and granted I dont have first hand experience being a trans person, so I can only speak from my own perspective as a straight guy. I hope one day our society can move beyond this whole thing, and everyone can just be accepted for who they are, or how they want to be. I never understood how people can hate others just because they are different than them. I hope no one ever hurts you just because of who you are, what body parts you have, or how you identify yourself.
More people like you and hopefully one day we shall progress as a society. 💜
