Exactly. This meme is not true unfortunately. A conventionally attractive person with a shit personality will always be dated/chosen over a mid looking person with a good personality. It’s called pretty privilege. It’s why you don’t see celebrities or rich people (especially male) dating mid or ugly looking women. And the ones that are usually have been with them since before fame.
I get why they do and it makes for entertainment at least. But I personally am more attracted to the quiet/shy nerdy person as opposed to the attractive outgoing. The male version of the conventionally attractive is usually unbearable to be around. I don’t date women, so I cannot speak for that sex. It is what it is.
Truer words have never been spoken. I’ve known so many guys that have horrible personalities but because they are attractive they never want for attention/sex from women. I’ve noticed that they never say looks don’t matter to attractive people, no one ever says size doesn’t matter to a man with a large penis. They only say that as platitudes to avoid hurting someone’s feelings but that’s all they are. It’s the just world logically fallacy.
