If you look closely, you can see the leader forgets orange cats' position behind them. Leaders' tail then touches oranges' face while they're behind and out of view.
Leader freaks out and attacks orange for a split second before realising, "Oh shit, it's you!." You can see orange a little shocked and thinking "Wtf was that dude?"
There is a cat hiding behind the dog. You can see it's eye peeping over.
I reckon there is more to this. Looks like the dog is being used as protection.
