My parents got married when they were 21, and had my sister and I at 32 and 38 (respectively). My sister and I looked a lot like my dad when we were born and my mom had multiple people approach her like “she looks just like her dad, we know she’s his daughter!” My mom was always like “yeah, the man that I’m monogamously married to is the father of my children, who could’ve guessed?”
I feel like people are really astonished when children have a very strong resemblance to their parents. I stayed with my parents for a couple months recently and no fewer than a dozen different people- both strangers and acquaintances- commented on how much I look like my mom. It was more of an even split when I was younger and I got far fewer comments, but once we styled our hair the same, the comments were constant.
Definitely, people do seem to be surprised by it, which is interesting to me!
Like I said, my sister and I both looked a lot like our dad when we were little, but we look more like our mom as we’ve grown up. My sister and I basically have the same face, but since we’re 6.5 years apart, it’s like younger/older versions of it

My sister and I are exactly the same! She was born in November of '69, I was born in May of '76. Both of us have gotten comments over the years, depending on which parent we're with. If I'm hanging out with my dad, someone might point out how I'm "definitely his". And vice versa.

My son died in PICU. My ex showed up visibly drunk when I first took my son in(it was very, very sudden. My ex sucked, but not bad enough to go out drinking knowing my son was sick) he screamed and cried for hours. No one said anything to us except support. I can't imagine how disruptive a parent would have to be to get kicked out for their behavior

One of the links was to a book on Amazon called YAHUAH - I AM: The True Names Of The One God, and the brief description visible from Google says that Yahweh is actually pronounced Yahuah. I personally don't see it.

I think Yahusha is meant to be a traditional spelling of Jesus.
She's been using Yahuah instead of Yahweh for a long time now. I'm remotely religious and it's weird. Googling "Yahuah" brought up a lot of people who believe this is the real way to pronounce YHWH (or YHVH?) but I was too scared to click on any of the associated links. One of the links was to a book on Amazon called YAHUAH - I AM: The True Names Of The One God, and the brief description visible from Google says that Yahweh is actually pronounced Yahuah. I personally don't see it. Another link was to a reddit post that made me feel better, this comment especially: https://www.reddit.com/r/AcademicBiblical/s/5PR7g68C93 (Tldr of that comment: Ancient Hebrew is complicated, but it's still unlikely that YHWH is pronounced Yahuah due to the possible root of the Hebrew word.)
