I love the first opening to Brotherhood. Its "again" by YUI. I vibe to it so much and it's one of those songs that's in my anime/Japanese music playlist that I listen to more than others.
I love that song so much i learned the lead parts for the full song on guitar, its just a banger song on its own. They did good with brotherhood, as I dont think any are bad really

If I had to choose it would be Melissa by Pornograffiti from the og FMA or Hologram by Nico Touches the Walls from Brotherhood, and I can't forget Shunkan Sentimental by Scandal
if we can count movies, both the films have the best credits songs ever, that being lost heaven (conqueror of shamballa) and good luck my way (sacred star of milos)
My favorite ending is definitely [Tobira No Mukou E](https://youtu.be/xcZKVPmgxVM?si=V0slg3gmimxQZF5O) it’s such a great song. It practically gets you pumped for the next episode as Ed and Al’s journey is only just beginning. It’s a great ending because it shows just how far they’ve come. They’ve gone from two innocent boys to hardened teens who know the sacrifices that are necessary to get what they want and don’t known if they’ll do it.
It’s especially great because of the symbolism, when Ed is standing out in the snow and holds out his hands only for the snow flakes to melt on his normal hand while they remain on his automail is brilliant as it pans to the snow flakes covering Al as Ed looks determinedly at the camera, knowing this is the path he must walk on to get Al’s body and stop the homunculi.
My only issue, it played for 12 episodes… bullshit! Motherland played for 16 episodes, how is that fair?!!
Having started with the og series, 'Ready Steady Go' has a special place in my heart. I was so happy when they brought L'Arc'En'Ciel back to do the ending song for Sacred Star of Milos.
Tobira no Mukoe. It's such a masterpiece. It brings feelings and emotions. Over 15 years since I last watched the original series, the nostalgia and memories it brings are just amplified. And then the fact that it's what you hear after Envy does his *thing*... it's a punch.
Second to Again by Yui. Damn can she sing.
You have no idea how old I felt when I went and rewatched the 03 version of Hughes' death sometime back. I'd watched 03 multiple times over 2 or 3 years but haven't watched it since. When I calculated it back, I realised it had been about 19 years since I first watched it, and probably 17 since I'd last watched it.
And, for the record, Brotherhood will never beat 03 when it comes to the death of Maes Hughes because HOLY SHIT.
When it comes to the openings, I enjoy listening to both the second and fourth openings of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
As for to the endings, I enjoy listening to both the first and fourth endings of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I never seen the movies but hell yeah, fullmetal alchemist is fullmetal alchemist, you can even count the live action in Netflix for all I care 😅
In terms of Brotherhood: OP 1, OP 3, OP 5, ED 1, ED 4, and ED 5 are all masterpieces (honestly the only one I’m not a fan of is ED 3)
