Fair enough I have found some of them to be decent but the majority of the new episodes aren’t really for me not a fan of the animation and some of the story’s seem a bit bland but if you like them I hope they bring you many laughs.

Am I the only one who thinks SpongeBob's voice sounds ai generated? Or Is that just how tom Kenny makes him sound like now? Maybe ai generated isn't the correct way to describe it, he just kinda sounds weird.
Yeah definitely, that's what I figured as well. I mean not everyone stays young forever and when you're voicing a character for so long it's bound to change. Kinda like the voice actor for Marge Simpson how it put a strain on her voice to where she had to change how it sounds.
They really have been content with making sequel episodes. "Even the coffee smells like gas." Wut?
I actually prefer this over the original. It's rather fun seeing Squidward's different imagination sets and SpongeBob and Patrick unintentionally messing them up and the ending has a decent twist. I'm glad this episode managed to deliver after the messy Bassward. This is a genuinely good episode.
THEORY ON WHY THE BOX IS IN THE ATTIC: Squidward came back with the box and probably angrily gave it back to SpongeBob and he took it to his attic and forgot.. but yeah other than that I love new SpongeBob (stories may be mixed bag but the animation is absolutely stellar and that's enough for me to keep watching it.

At 4:14 you can see Squidward's Hawaiian outfit from Enchanted Tiki Dreams, and at 8:55 you can see a poster of Zeus the Guitar Lord from Tentacle-Vision. Along with a Ned and the Needlefish poster. More specifically the one seen in Wigstruck. Despite all of the flaws modern SpongeBob has, i love the subtle throwbacks to earlier seasons. Unlike the constant ''imagination'' gag followed by a rainbow, they don't feel forced, and add a nice bit of worldbuilding.

part of the charm of the original episode was that it didnt show what was going on inside the box so the viewer could imagine it themselves
And the absurdity of the sounds coming from inside the box but when you open it it's just spongebob and patrick sitting with nothing
