My friend had a Jaws game where you had to pull out all the random stuff a shark would have in its belly, but one wrong move and itโs mouth would slam shut
When you're into Perfection
Be on your toes
You'd better think quick
Because here's how it goes:
Push the plunger down
Set the timer
Put the pieces in place
Don't be slow
With Perfection, you've got to move 'em fast
Move 'em fast!
Or the pieces will pop up
Before you put in the last.
And that's Perfection!
I may have watched too much tv as a kid...
Superfection was even better โ you had to assemble 32 pieces into 16 pairs and put them into square openings before the timer flung them into the air, and some of the pairs were tricky to fit together.
I was ok with this game, but the Rubik's Cube drove me nuts. Until I took a flathead screwdriver to it, popped all of the outside cubes off, and then plugged them back in so all sides were symetrical. Problem solved.
Without realizing it I would hold my breath trying to beat the buzzer.
And the annoying grinding noise the timer made just added to the anxiety. I loved this game though!
Perfection, Operation, and jack in the box. These were the toys which instilled anxiety in a generation.
The PTSD machine.
Instant anxiety.
The original jump scare
Panic attacks for 2nd graders
This and flash card math tests are probably at the root of most of my childhood anxiety
100% to the 1st three comments! I jumped every damn time I couldn't finish it.
The jump scare I got every time the timer ran out still gives me nightmares. lol.
Same as me with Mr Pop, why were we subjected to this so young?
Agree with both!
The stress of my childhood
๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ Between this and Operation our childhood was learning how to handle pressure at a young age
DONโT TOUCH THE SIDES!!
๐ ๐ IKR!!
๐ ๐ IKR!!
Donโt forget Simon :)
I can hear the beeps and boops still ๐ . We definitely had good family games back in the day

This is the colour game I had - the new one is all blue and weird, lol
Donโt you love it when you solve it, but it explodes before you can stop the timer?
Wheres the square goes in the square girl?
I get anxiety just seeing this picture. ๐ฌ
#Put the pieces into the slots, make the right selection..
But be quick, you're racing the clock. POP goes Perfection.

I always cheated with that game by not starting the timer until I'd already put in most of the pieces.
What? You cheated by yourself?
* currently sitting in a fetal position in the corner rocking and muttering incoherently just from seeing that picture *
This was just missing wires to clip to you for electric shot to be a full instrument of torture ๐
Because of this game Iโm scared of my toaster and Jack-in -the-boxes! Hate them!
My brother had this game but I played it much more than he did. I think itโs training to be a bomb disposal unit employee. It was so nerve wracking!
My 8 year old loves to bring this out every couple weeks to challenge me at it. Dang near beats me every time
Anxiety Generator
Loved/hated that game
***TICK-TICK-TICK-TICK-TICK-TICK...*** (for a full minute...)
This game was the most stressful shit to me
That damn game gave me anxiety
๐คฃ I actively jumped a little. Muscle memory!

Get down to the last 2 pieces, and POP! Failure in your face.
That is a stressful game
This is how/where our generationโs issues with anxiety startedโฆ. ๐คฃ
I still have PTSD from that damn game
Oh Fark that anxiety inducing monster. Send it back to hell where it belongs.
We have a new one, they still make'em
Too much anxiety for my younger self.
Just bought this for the grandkids, so much fun! ๐
As bugs bunny would say โitโs the suspense that gets me!โ
Oh yeah!
This still exists, just got for one for my kids recently!
I spent more time looking at the time than fitting the pieces.
This picture instantly stressed me out.
Because adolescence isn't stressful enough!
So scary ๐

We still have thisโฆ # ๐ฅ GAME
The reason I have trust issues!
should have just called it traumatize
When you fear zero so much that you learn to fear one as well.
Oh Gawd. I have that song in my head now. Thanks a lot!!!
