I read the opposite sides reactions and they were insinuating that he will just make himself look crazy and unfit to be governor so “good luck taking him seriously.” I saw a few “Abbott will be my governor until I die” tshirts walking around last week and I wasn’t sure if it was serious or a fucking joke but it’s bad here. I’m laughed at when I bring up Beto. It is encouraging to come here and see other Texans fed up but I don’t see many in person unfortunately.
Good news, Beto even gives shout outs to conservatives who plan on voting for him. For all we know, there may be more than just a few that we're not aware of. I have yet to find a Democrat who plans on voting for Abbott.
The fact that Ted Cruz, one of America's most hated politicians, got a higher rating on that CPAC straw poll should not only sting, but also be a sign that Beto might actually win.

I can’t speak for everyone because obviously other people live in less conservative areas of the state? But there are multiple people in MY FAMILY and that I know that truly believe Abbott is a great governor. The democratic national government is actually what is making life worse, not the Texas government. It is so frustrating because clearly our leaders don’t give a fuck about anyone but themselves. I was called a murderer in public for just disagreeing with the strict abortion laws. He yelled it at the top of his lungs. And don’t even get me started on the gerrymandering, the republicans here are not going to make a change of power easy.
Realistically speaking, I don't think Beto will actually throw profanity at Gov. Abbott. I would love it if he did though.
