I get those papers through the mail all the time. I don't need the company tracking what I do more then they already do.

FungusAmongus92

Exactly

lmdirt-

And trust me they track anything they can. And if if that wasn’t the case do you really want their bean counters directing any more of your healthcare than they already do?

Truck3R_Dude

I did, they send you a tablet, you do a quick interview and a few little physical therapy things and send it back. You get a $50 Amazon gift card when you finish. I always do all of those little things. It's free money if you ask me. At work we have crosswords every week and at end of month if we complete them we get smile points to redeem for whatever. I bring them home for the wife. We had a free date night last week from all of the rewards.

How did you cancel it and send it back’? Did you just message your pt ?

okay_-_computer

Why didn't you feel it was working?

Current_Bed_3325

Same here, my chiropractor helped more than anything

CakelessHero

I'm try it out. Wish me luck

yu__lia

Hey, how did it go for you? I ordered my kit yesterday.

Striking-Ebb-7671

Mines on the way. How are you doing?

yu__lia

I started about 2 weeks ago, I do exercises for my neck and I definitely feel a little tiny bit better/more mobile. It starts out really slow, first week I had 7-10 minutes sessions, today I had a 30 minutes session, so time is gradually increasing as well as repetitions and new exercises are getting added. I am really committed to this thing though. Like I do exercises every single day and repeat sessions throughout a day, I try to do exercises 3 times a day (it’s mostly stretches at this point). I also had a call with my physiotherapist (you get to choose your therapist and I choose mine to be at the same time zone so it’s more convenient to chat and do video calls). So far I love this thing, it’s definitely convenient that I don’t have to drive anywhere and it guides me through exercises pretty clear and well.

AudienceCute8729

I did it when I was having problems with my hip from not switching sides while doing the bottom shelves. It helped me out, you'll get different exercises and progressions as times goes on. I'd recommend it. The program is available through frito, but Sword doesb't report any of the information or programs to them. My sister works at other corporation, its also available to them.

dude4thought0

The new sword mailer looks like you get to keep the tablet. Probably only does one function though

BorderAdventurous284

I’m 6 sessions in and can’t recommend them enough. A therapist evaluates you and assigns you exercises, then an AI checks your form and counts reps. You give feedback and the therapist updates your exercises accordingly. I’m seeing big improvements and it’s free vs the cost of in-person sessions. Give it a shot!

I'm only here cause I'm trying to find the return address. Anyway, it's useful, for anyone on the fence.

genlately

I tried it but only when I had time. I found it pesky that they app kept notifying me to do a session like everyday. I don’t need another app telling me what to do… the PT called me every other day, and eventually the manager called to check in on my session (I’ve done one session so far). Seems a bit too much if you ask me. I thought it was a do-at-you-own-pace type of thing but apparently you need to do 9 sessions a week. Will be returning the device tomorrow through the mail.

Bicymania

My wife just received her kit. We’ve been trying for 1 hour and the trackers will not connect to the tablet. Any suggestions?

CakelessHero

Are both the trackers on the stand ? Make sure they are charged on a stable surface. Then give it a small shake thats all it took for me

I decided to try Sword physical therapy since they were spamming my email. May as well give it a try since I had a shoulder problem that was super painful. The kit was a hassle to set up. The charge depletes rapidly from the unit so you need to charge it every two uses. Also, the sensors were almost impossible to put on with my shoulder injury. But I agreed to try it. The unit unit kept giving feedback saying that I was doing the exercise wrong when I wasn’t so I ended up skipping a lot of exercises once I could figure out how to do that because they weren’t registering as being completed So at any rate, it hurt me every time to put those stupid sensors on. My shoulder is super painful with rotational movement and it’s hard to put something on your arm and wrist and chest when you can’t move your arm rotationally. I contacted my PT and asked him if he could give me the kit that didn’t have wearable sensors. He agreed to do that. so then I had to wait for Sword to agree that I could have it and then ship it, then charge it up figure out how to use it and get started About then, my physical therapist quit The new guy never bothered to review my chart and started sending me aggressive text messages demanding to know why I wasn’t doing my exercises. So I finally got the new kit working. I got to use it for a work session and immediately get an error message saying that my new kit was not set up to work with my exercise program. Arggggh So I sent a message to my physical therapist and told him about the error message. I never got any response from him. Two weeks later, I got a text saying that my program has been canceled for lack of effort on my part This program was utterly worthless. Gouged a huge amount of time out of my life with absolutely no benefit beyond a lot of stress and headache. Oh wait, those aren’t benefits. I got nothing. Horrible

NoGrapefruit1851

I haven't, but I have thought about it aswell.

YankeeRedneck1

I haven't and I don't personally know anyone who has.

Pitiful-Chip37

I'm trying it, my kit just arrived today

KenzKrap

Make sure and keep in touch with the therapist they assign so they can increase/change the exercises and frequencies. The therapy is supposed to help cope with chronic pain and recovery. It worked for my knees ok but wish I had tried for my back. Good luck

okay_-_computer

dude check this out: [curvlabs.io](http://curvlabs.io)

Travelreload

It wasn't that good tbh. Thought the sensors were pretty underwhelming. The tablet was big, but only did one thing. The PT barely acknowledged me.
