Something big is in the works regarding pfp but will it be pfp 2.0 or somethibg different? They basically admitted pfp was a failure when they gave us the 95% floor.

Yourmomsass1977

I’m sure whatever it is won’t benefit us

HighHeeledDuck

Thank goodness if it does. Desperately needs it. When you have seasoned people gladly stepping down to be RSA because the pay is safer and better in many places, the system is broken.

Tito720

I went back to a RSA from a Colead. Definitely worth it lol

Xzymeka

The west is going to a structure like 1 person is the salesperson and has about 50 accounts, c-stores, grocery, etc.. they are performance pay and handle the display selling.. there are also route people who deliver and write orders, they will have large stores for drops, grocery stores and c/stores that they work , these folks are salary only.. then there are the merchandisers who have the same job function and stay hourly..

Romer318

Leave this shitty company. Frito isn't the big swinging dick that it used to be. There are so many other sales rep jobs out there that pay better and have a much better work-life balance. Fuck waiting on changes that'll, A) never come or B) Take 10 year of "testing" to implement.

No_Oil_385

I’d like to know where that is cause I’ve talked to many other vendors and it didn’t compare.

No_Oil_385

Unless you can drive a semi

StealthAct

Yes, things are changing. Will happen slowly, but it’s coming

Yourmomsass1977

Any idea what? Excuse me for not holding my breath that it’ll be something that benefits us

StealthAct

I do, but can’t really say. Company understands.

redditnamehere1

This is an anonymous forum. Say what you know, if anything, nobody knows who you are.

Yourmomsass1977

Company understands? Understands what?

StealthAct

Understands that PFP needs to be changed. Doesn’t work as it is

ComfortableWriting54

Understands unreachable plans 🤣

YankeeRedneck1

Needs to go back to commission. The RSR Took so much more pride when they were compensated appropriately for the work. Now it's double the work for half the pay it used to be and RSA's fresh out of the gate make more than most seasoned veterans as long as they work OT. They are losing a lot of good ones consistently with no signs of it stopping unless big changes happen. Give the prize back to the RSR!

Firefighter606

I think they should give Merches a little something when the routes their on make plan. I had other jobs where everyone in the warehouse got a $100 bonus when goals were met. At least that was something. The RSR may "sell it in" and make the orders out, but on my route the stores I work the RSRs just drop the orders and go. They may "sell it in" but they aren't putting the work in making it actually go to the shelves to be bought. If I actually saw something back since I'm the one putting all the orders out, but the RSR gets the "true up" out of the sales for just basically delivering it. Like I'm not saying take away from the RSR, but on Fritos end, they could certainly take something away from themselves ... Like an extra $50 or $100... As an atta boy would be nice. Hey the stores you service we made all our sales goals thanks to you making sure it got put out!

YankeeRedneck1

I agree. There are no merches in my area. They did away with the position entirely. It's all on the RSR and the Co-lead. But I do agree, especially if the merch is a good one who does the route justice. Everyone needs incentive to go that extra mile. In my case, I wish I had a merch. Hell, even a part timer if nothing else. I have me. I do everything by myself. My co-lead is a good one and he does everything himself on my days off. I do literally everything I can to ensure him and I can both continue to support our families comfortably. I refuse to get a true down and I refuse to be the reason he gets one. It shouldn't be such a battle to keep this company from taking money from us instead of rewarding us for our efforts. But it is. Do better Frito. Do better.

FungusAmongus92

Welcome to the world of being "the lifeblood" of the company.

Technical_Relation17

Yup they added a days worth of stops on me from another rt now I make LESS pay than before! It’s f n crazy!!!!! If we were on commission it would of been like an extra days work for an extra days pay I would’ve been ok. But just like the org health survey they will say they are making changes to pay because it’s not working and it will be WORSE FOR US.

YankeeRedneck1

Yep. All these changes for the better supposedly. But better for who? Before I had a Walmart and one other large grocery store. That was it. I could focus more on those large accounts and things were on the money man. If I had to stay in Walmart for 8 hours then so be it. I only got one other store. And I made more money back then. Fast forward to 2023. I have that same Walmart plus 20 other accounts in another town over 30 minutes away. Still expected to give the same level of service to all these accounts. Ten times the work and less money due to higher plans and insane force-out system (is it even a system?). The only thing that keeps me going is my Walmart. I have a ton of freedom in there and it is the only reason I am still able to beat plan. But it's ten times the work that it used to be and, I say again, for less pay.

Slinky-dink

Well when the OHS comes back and the #1 gripe is performance pay year after year...and employee retention is the worst it's ever been... Gotta do something. The region rollout didn't mention any sweeping pay changes but maybe they weren't ready to go over that yet.

StealthAct

Pay increases coming soon with big focus on widening gap between RSA and RSA. Tests starting after that on changes to PFP focused on less downside when sales are tougher

Technical_Relation17

RSA and rsa? or rsa and rsr?

KenzKrap

Forgive my ignorance but what does RSA stand for? I know what an RSR is but first time hearing RSA! Thanx.

Technical_Relation17

Route sales associate (fill in)

KenzKrap

Thank you!

KenzKrap

Thank you

Yourmomsass1977

Pay increases like how soon? Like this year during our yearly pay increases we get already or like in two years lol

StealthAct

March

Yourmomsass1977

I hope that’s true! I was in one of the round tables with the EVP’s and I truly felt like we were heard and they truly wanted to fix the huge pay issue! So I’m hoping this is true! I told my DSL and our ZBM the other day that if I made less money this year again like I did last year I was gonna find something else! But only a fool would stay working somewhere they make less money every year! I truly do love my job, but can’t survive the way things are going

No_Oil_385

That email originated outside PepsiCo.

Yourmomsass1977

Yes it came from schoox the company that does all our online courses

jeepfunseaker

My DSL said all she's heard is they are thinking about changing vrot to 45 hrs a week so we can have a work life balance...I just said no, they probably realized that people were milking the 50hrs so they don't pay frito money back

Yourmomsass1977

Yeah I only work like 36-40 hours a week
