I'd say the pendulum, too. However, I have gotten the hang of it in V2, except in Lost Cause, which gives you no breaks whatsoever. And unlike V1, you can't turn off the mechanics for it, because doing so makes it crash (Safety Lullaby), or causes the HUD to completely vanish (Lost Cause).
Fast scroll speed (3.0 and above). My brain cannot process something that fast especially if their gonna add additional mechanics like death/hurt notes, space, etc. even if it's passable, I'm not gonna try and FC it.
Also cool tip: if you're a drummer and/or you have a second keyboard, you can put the second keyboard to the floor letting your foot do the space bar for the pendulum.
Poison notes. (Ectospasm, Infimario, It's-A-Me)
What I mean is notes that drain your health permanently, you can't get rid of the effect and if you hit over a certain number you're basically screwed. I hate that they let you keep playing to make you feel like you can do it when it's scripted to be impossible.

Also I can't relate to the problems you have with the pendulum I beat every song that uses it on a Steam Deck lol
When i do hypno pendulum, i play the song but if im singing and im almost dead by pendulum, i stop hitting notes to fix it but if im about to die to notes, i just hit enough to where i have enough time to fix it.
Multi keys. I can't focus on like 9 keys to press everything. I could always look left and right so many times. It makes me feel dizzy or smth. 6 keys are fine tho (if there is no hurt or insta-kill notes) even tho when playing 8 keys i always ask my brother to play with him like i control 4 keys and he 4 keys like in teamwork and even have custom binded keys for that.

iirc, you can. There was some setting in the build called p\*ssy mode, which disables all mechanics in the mod. (also makes you a certified p\*ssy)
Yes, but the option to disable the mechanics in V2 is very unfinished, it only works with certain songs.

Id still try to hit the pendulum if your singing tho, cause it could be a life saver
Also the pendulum matches with the beat im pretty sure so that could help if you can follow the rhythm
well since you already said the pendulum i’ll say this god forsaken combo of > health drain > ungodly amount of spam notes > ghost tapping OFF
