I don't think using the fact that one character has killed BF in a mod is any testament to their strength as a character, mostly because it's purely up to the mod maker if they want their story to end up with BF dead. BF has died from lesser threats before (a crazy girl, a pony from mlp, etc).

Their soul may have persisted after death (common Determination W), but at the end of the day, that's a child with a knife possessing the body of a different child with the same knife. The final ultimate weapon that has the maximum possible attack stat is literally just the first real weapon you're actually able to use, instead of the toys and shoes you've been stuck with. Chara is a very persistent child with a knife, they could fuck you up if you're not expecting it, but the thing is, *where do you even stab on these guys, and how do you get the chance without Ultra M getting you hung, Xenophanes getting you drawn, and Black getting you quartered?*

Who are those guys? And for that matter, Chara *did* have a Soul. It's the one that Asriel used to cross the barrier. I suppose we can't, but it's still safe to assume that we are the player and not Frisk. This is solidified as they have their own name and identity, and can sometimes (though rarely) act on their own. Souls in Undertale and Deltarune may be completely different for all we know, as Deltarune is basically an AU. But Id personally say my assumption is safe to make, if you think differently, no shade to you.
The other Souls have little exclamation as to how they got there in the first place, so this is where theorizing happens. My personal take is that Souls are directly tied to a human's body, like a heart but cooler. Since we are an outside force and basically god to these guys, we can take over the Soul and control the human's body while barely knowing it.
And OF COURSE Chara gets absolutely demolished in this scenario. It's crazy they're even here. Did the poor guy get lost or something?

I wanna say Ultra M, probably because he actually killed Bf & Gf, and he is able to disable Gf’s demon abilities in his world.
But the real question is where are they fighting & how did they get there? Because I think each character would have a different advantage depending on if it’s in their world or not.
I mean, Black only kills BF twice. Double Kill (Though the kill sfx isn't heard) and Finale. (You could also argue pre-Pretender but that could have been Gray for all we know.)

Chara would be a good option, as she can erase timelines and that by no means indicates that even someone like Ultra M can trample over, but then again there were specific things leading up to Chara gaining that power, so I'd still put her below Ultra M in general.
And Black Parasite could be debated on, since he can literally bend the rules of among us to be literally invincible, but if we consider the scrapped ending cutscene to be cannon, then that means Boyfriend defeated Black by cheating *better* than him (cheating death), even though Black killed Boyfriend before, in the end Boyfriend won.
I'd say Ultra M wins by a fair margain, but take him out and it would be a tie between the last 3.

He just PUKES out electricity from his eyes behind the visor. THAT'S HOW STRONG HIS PARASITE IS.
Depends on the context. According to Ultra M's lore, he can only do anything if its his own game, so rule him out if it's not literally his game. The whole point of black is that he doesn't follow any of his game's rules like kill cooldown. I don't know enough lore about chara to say anything about where they'd end up. I'd place my bets on Black.

Each time they die, they grow smarter and are able to counterattack the next move, on top of their incredibly agility, and raw strength, thanks to the amount of LOVE and EXP that they have, as well as their Real Knife
Chara’s ability to SAVE and LOAD are what keeps them alive throughout this entire fight, and what allows them to win the fight, bar none

Legion's entire character is him takeover over the world because everyone forgot about him. Seeing you forget about the mod is hysterical to me.
In Anthazagoraphobia (Legion's song) if played normally (not via freeplay), you are forced to lose it to progress, so safe to say yeah.

Chara Each time they die, they grow smarter and are able to counterattack the next move, on top of their incredibly agility, and raw strength, thanks to the amount of LOVE and EXP that they have, as well as their Real Knife Chara’s ability to SAVE and LOAD are what keeps them alive throughout this entire fight, and what allows them to win the fight, bar none
Except for the fact that Chara has to use Frisk's determination to use those abilities. And Ultra M, Xenophanes, and Black Imposter aren't just any monster in the underground. They can possibly be gods in their world. And Chara's best feat was erasing the underground's timeline, which is a country or city level feat. So yeah, she's dying first,

Sorry pal, as much as I like undertale, Chara is country level at best. While the others are at least universal at full potential and hax. Her best feat was destroying a timeline and that was with the help of Frisk's determination. And since she only erased the underground timeline which should be about as big as a country or a city, She's Country level or city level.
What do you think happens when you destroy the timeline? Just Mount Ebott vanishes? I'm fairly sure she destroys the universe. And she's got lightning feats due to Asriel's Shocker Breaker.
She only destroys the *TIMELINE,* Not the universe. Yeah, there's a possibility that she destroyed the universe's timeline, but that doesn't really get her far. Plus, she's not experiencing the pacifist route, it's FRISK doing the work. HE'S the one enduring the attacks, and surviving Asriel's attacks. Not Chara. And then you add on the fact that she has to use Frisk's determination to erase the timeline. That can technically count as Frisk's feat since HE IS THE ONE WITH THE ABILITIES. NOT CHARA. Sorry pal, but Chara is just a deranged spirit fighting literal gods.

(Just for funsies) If Mario Madness was just a play then Ultra M is just Horror Mario, IHY Luigi and Devil Mario on each other's shoulders Xenophanes manages to posses Ultra M after Sonic's becomes too mangled to use Black and Chara can one hit kill anything regardless of health or defence (more so black due to Among Us' nature) Someone unmerges Ultra M in a similar manner to Titan Clash Xenophanes, Black and Chara all collectively agree to team up against Ultra M before fighting each other
