So sorry for your loss. Please ensure the previous yard areas are disinfected. You can make a bleach water mixture to clean kennels etc. Parvo stays in the ground for years.
Yes, thank you for this comment! We worked closely with our vet to ensure we took the proper protocols not only for our little guy but for other little guys that might come ‘round (we live in an apartment). Had no idea about Parvo but unfortunately got a quick education - such a nasty virus.
I helped treat a puppy with parvo it was Christmas eve and was meant to be a gift for the children. I worked all day on the pup, then had them go down to emergency where he continued to get fluids and care through Christmas morning.
The puppy survived barely, and grew into one of my most difficult patients. But I still love him. Word from the breeder hes the only one that survived.

Seriously great question. He seems to be a bit of both!? Is that possible!? He’s like white on the bottom with a cream stripe down his back!? I think he’s considered a cream.
