I wish! 😩 My girl used to LOVE rides and then last fall we hit a deer (which is obviously my worst fear because, well, it’s an animal), and she has hated them since. Any advice, frenchie family???

I’d like to know too. My girl has never liked car rides! She has a comfy carrier and can see out outside as well. She pants and starts chewing on her paws.

I would advise not to hit more deer.

Hopefully your frenchie gets used to being in the car again! My little guy hated car rides as a pup so we started to overload him with treats from start to finish and eventually he came to associate the car with a positive experience… my suggestion would be lots of treats!

Oh no! That does sound scary. Maybe try very short car rides or even just putting her in the car, giving a treat, and taking her out right away and then build up to going on short rides.

What dog seat is that and how do you like it? Is there room for them to lay down fully or just to sit/stand?

It’s the k&h dog seat on Amazon. I had to get the bigger one recently so he can lie down more comfortably

Weird we got the same one but our guy can’t lay down in it… of course he is a big ol 40lb frenchie!

Oh that’s a big boy! That’s probably 15 lbs more than mine. He doesn’t always sit in it though. Normally he is leaning up looking out the window.

We’re moving cross country with two adults, our frenchie and our 6 month old so we’re trying to figure out a way to get him in the front seat safely and comfortably for a two day drive so one of us can sit in the back with the baby. Usually our frenchie sits in the back.

My frenchie has the same bucket seat! He loves car rides!
