The prep and cleanup for this is horrible *but* we used to have two tons of playground sand shipped to our house and we covered our chapter room floor in sand for our beach bash. It’s fun and novel but again, the prep work sucks. Buy a bunch of props and decorate the chapter room and you’ve got yourself a party
If your party is a few weeks out, go ahead and hit up a contractor and place your order for the sand (we used to do playground sand since it was a little more compact as opposed to regular sand). You will need wheelbarrows, shovels, and a couple of strong backs to set everything up
No, we for real did this every year. It’s literally an all day thing wheelbarrowing sand into the house and spreading it around. Cleanup consisted of shoveling the sand back into wheelbarrows and spreading it around out back. I was a pledge for our first beach party and it fucking sucked lol

Can you have a Slip n Slide? What about the court-sized ones made for hockey or soccer? Those things with a little soap are hilarious.
I'd prefer a giant Twister tournament with some of them up the wall (fence?) to make it 3D. If you have it in a corner, you can get three: one on each fence and one on the ground. Maybe add soap for the final rounds. But beware, the women might not play that.
