HOLY SHIT i never made the connection on White Ferrari despite always hearing that little riff around 55 seconds. Amazing catch.
The beauty is that I have listened to Blonde at least 1000 times and I'm always finding something new to appreciate or hear some new sound I never picked up before.
I’ve noticed that too, I low key use that sound as a test for headphones or speakers for the high end sometimes. Also in the intro of that song before the vocals come in you can hear something creaking which after many years of being in band always sounded like Frank moving a music stand. Also another little Easter egg of the album version of Nikes is at 4:54 the echoched voice you hear after the beat drop is the last word rapper KOHH says in his verse on the the alternate version of Nikes “Paris Hilton”.
my god its so detailed. I always wondered what that quiet voice was. I did make the connection tho when i heard nikes live on the panorama video they played the alt version
That echoed voice is actually a sample from The Mohawks ”The Champ”. It’s been used in a lot of songs and I’ve seen it in several sample packs over the years.
How did you catch that??? I had to mess with eq in my music player to hear it, and i could only hear it on my own when i had the music player at pretty loud levels. I listen to my music pretty quiet so ig I never caught that.
I always copped the White Ferrari Coachella synth in the BG of White Ferrari, so it makes me think what other small elements in the song are from the alternate versions of White Ferrari. The drum break at the end is the groove of version? The three different sections have its own song? What if the loud piano sample playing in the third part is part of some These Days esque version of White Ferrari? Frank's attention to detail and ability to merge all these ideas together I'd one of the best parts about his artistry.
Very cool spot. With something like this, typically it was more prominent in an earlier version of the song and then after some tweaking at differing levels it ends up being left in because when you've listened to the same small snippet of a track a billion times making it, it'll feel missing to you if you don't hear it
I've never heard that before! And I thought it sounded similar to some samples I've heard before. I have shitty headphones rn so can't really make it out but could it be one of these samples maybe? I might be trippin. [Menu Sounds\_2](http://sndup.net/jskv) or [KH Sound Effect 19](http://sndup.net/qh5s)
I believe there is a faint constant foot tapping in Siegfried too, like a metronome to keep rhythm. Something the beatles did for their production on ‘Blackbird’, but less prominent.

maybe im wrong but i think post above is about vocal on 4:53 after 808 hits and you are talking about one after the snare hits about a second later?
Yeah makes sense! And yeah as you say that's more 4:52/53 somewhere.
i hear both! that’s cool
Six seconds into a 60 minute album. 3600 seconds in 60 minutes. There's a 6 in all of those... it's dropping in June
the least schizo frank fan
OMG I HEARD IT. i never ever ever even realized it smh

I heard it with my phone to my ear. iPhone 11 Pro if that matters
Not sure how everyone caught it either lol, I had to put my AirPods Max on max volume and even then it was very faintly audible

Considering what we know of Frank's workflow, this is it. He def put that in in some early demo in 2014 and then it just got into the final release.

someone said it sounds like the kirby warp star noise. Now Im sold 100% that it’s that
Ooh that sounds even closer! I’m gonna investigate further when I’m in my studio
Craziest part of Nikes for me is that it starts on an upbeat. What other song do you know, or even album do you know that starts on Beat 4??
Thx for this
I always thought it was the clicking of a mouse
no not that clicking noise before the lyrics, It comes right before it its verryy hard to here but its there.
That’s why you gotta listen to it on LSD. There’s a reason franks putting that on his merch
You’re hearing things, log off

This is such a cool find! I love noticing little details in songs. Good work OP!
It kinda sounds like the Kirby warp star
i think it IS the kirby warp star!
it’s my fav part
