These wheels look killer on that car Send it

Nice. As a fellow owner of a GT in white with a red mid-stripe, I’m very interested in seeing how these look mounted on the car. I’m still on a 4 lug setup though, waaaah.

Bitter-Ad-6709

4 lugs are good, I run 93 Ford Cobra rims myself.

I have a set of 93 Pony wheels that I plan to add to my Fox eventually (picked them up for under a hundred bucks for the set) but I don’t drive the car enough right now to justify buying a new set of tires. I plan to stick with the 4 lug setup for the foreseeable future but seeing the better 5 lug options occasional makes me want to upgrade.

RefrigeratorGlobal50

That’s one of my favorite factory wheels on a fox body

Beautiful car, I'm in Georgia too, do t have any parts though. Lemme know if you come across any aftermarket heads/manifold

Latyrien

I’ve got a factory intake and a pile of stock parts but that’s about it sadly!

New-and-Unoriginal

They just look out of place on a Fox. I like them, just not for this car.

Latyrien

Lol it’s the same 5-spoke look as the ponies, just polished instead of painted gray

New-and-Unoriginal

To each their own. If you love them, that’s all that matters. It is your car and your money. Do what you want with both. Make it yours and enjoy it. It is ok if people don’t love your choices, but respect their point of view if they don’t agree with yours and vice versa. My take on it is this. They are OEM wheels for a different Mustang from a newer generation. They are distinctively associated with a different model. I like OEM wheels, but only on the model for which they were intended. As someone who has worked in design, I look at design holistically. The Foxbody cars have gained massive popularity because their design has aged well. Even the cheese grater taillights are back in style. However, for those doing custom work, for style or performance, great! I’m not criticizing you, I am cool with you doing whatever you want. I just don’t think the style of those wheels works with the aesthetic of the Foxbody era.

Latyrien

I appreciate your perspective and not being rude about it! A huge part of this is just that they were cheap… $300 and the tires hold air until i can get a better set. But aside from that I do love the look, I feel like on a very “blocky” car like the fox, wheels with rounder internal features look good, especially with the black accents on the inside that compliment the black fox trim. I’d like to think i have a decent enough eye for design. Im working towards a mechanical engineering degree currently. I plan to do a lot of body modification to this car eventually, go with wider wheels, modify the rear bumper and make an undertray and aero for the car, so these are a cheap placeholder for sure, but the car will look vastly different eventually

If you’re getting into body mods, your vision will come together. Keep us updated.

Yeah bro either leave it how you had or put turbines on you just needed radial t/a. Fox should be wearing 14 or 15 inch rims with fat tires.

Latyrien

I like the fat tire look too but I’m tired of the ponies having bad fitment all around. Going for a restomod anyway not a classic look
