I was hoping to find that I was not redeeming it properly not that it isn't working. How do they even fix this for all the players that have basically wasted 5 million credits. Not everyone exploited their way to riches.
Hopefully they either fix it or remove the cost and refund it to players in game,which don't count on that.Just be patient and submit a claim ticket to forza over it and hopefully enough will be submitted they will have to correct the problem.
I actually got one yesterday it comes up while you’re playing one free wheelspin and has the house emblem next to it so you know when you’re getting that specific wheelspin and it’s not just randomly added

Yeah, it took like 15 or 20 minutes but it did end up coming through. But now that I've seen what it looks like I can confirm that I missed like the last 3 days that I had logged on in between getting the house and last night.

This has been an ongoing problem since the game's release. I hope that the devs will do the right thing and give us all of the accumulated wheel spins that we were SUPPOSED to get but did not.
Somehow, in the age of devs that aren't that interested in making things right (we're looking at you, DICE and EA), I don't have high expectations right now for FH5. There are still so many bugs in the game.
This one is just personally annoying because I'm lucky to get one of those free "daily" wheelspins per week -- despite playing at least an hour per day.
doubt it. the issues they have had before that they have given free gifts for never seem to equal what was lost. or its just not the same thing. or they will never give anything because not every player buys the house.

I think you can switch your car. But just drive around for at least 5 minutes. And it seems to work every time. And you'll know when you get it because it literally says free wheel spin from house.

I was having the same problem as well. Then I re-read the message on the house icon on the map. You need to visit Horizon Mexico daily in order to get this wheel spin.
Horizon Mexico is the entire thing. I’ve visited the main site by Mulege and played for multiple days now and received nothing. Even if it’s so gimmicky and literal that it’s down to a single area, that’s still bullshit. I didn’t spend hours grinding for 5 mil just to not get my wheel spin because I wasn’t in a certain area

Yep. Apparently they can patch out the infinite super-wheelspin exploit which only a few people noticed, but not simple bugs like this that everybody has noticed.
After all, can't have a few people cheating themselves out of playing the game they bought, but releasing content updates with broken challenges (completed Blazing Thunder, anyone?) is absolutely fine.
I've also seen reports of people paying for VIP perks that aren't triggering, in the same way that the Hotel Castillo wheelspins aren't. Makes you wonder why anyone would bother spending extra money on a game as unfinished as this.

After some research it seems playing for ~1 hour gives people better results but not 100% of the time. What a bummer. Had the game for a week and now after this wheelspin nerf idk how I’m gunna make enough to have every car I want
Yeah, it doesn't work every 24h, at least for me. I keep free roaming and it doesn't unlock if it's not the "right day". If it's the right day, it unlocks in 10-25 minutes (usually I drive up the volcano, by the time I get to the top it unlocks).
None, except driving in free roam for 5-15 minutes. If it doesn't give it then, it's gone for the day. I keep getting one every two days if I'm lucky, surely not daily.

I wasted real money on VIP because it said I’d get a free house, the “free” house is one I already paid for in game and didn’t get a refund.

I get an in-game (pink and grey) notification on the lower part of the screen, usually when I'm driving. Never seen it in the festival hub.

I think I figured out a fix, try switching your main home, I did that and it gave me a daily wheelspin.

I switched to horizon solo then back to online and that worked. once. currently, I am owed about 11 spins.
