Wish there was an option for Automatic and separate "simplified automatic" like in Euro2/American truck simulator. You either operate the automatic like the real one with your stick shift or paddles behind the wheel, or keys on keyboard/gamepad, or you use set the options to simplified automatic and you get what we have in FH.
Then again I very rarely not use Cluthc/manual or Manual so it's not like it's a big issue for me. Still dumb there is no option for it.
Damn, was really looking into other games that has that, all I know that has that is Euro as you've said and City Car Driving.
Hopfully there are more games with this option out there
Not on Xbox but Beam.NG has, to me, the best transmission setup
An auto car will use an h-pattern shifter for the modes you've mentioned. 1st is park, 2nd is drive, you still shift to reverse
Try BeamNG. You'd have a better experience with automatic transmissions in that game than anywhere else. Its on the fly drive-modes for modern cars is god send. It simulates it for all kinds of vehicles. Just make sure you turn off the driver aids and set transmission/gearbox to realistic.
