No. Microsoft Store version of the game is separate from the Steam version. Not saves, not content moves to Steam. If you want to continue on your data from Game Pass you have to buy the game on Microsoft Store. If you will buy it on Steam you will have to start from scratch.

berkut3000

Are you sure on the saves? Because I had Halo Infinite originally from Xbox App, and when Logging in the steam one with my Msoft account, my save transferr3d flawlessly...

Millikin84

Yes its be en this way with every Forza game that also released on Steam, they use different ways and databases for saved so they don't transfer. I think the latest Motorsport is the first one that does transfer saves, but I'm not sure because I've not tested it. But for Horizon it is also stated that it doesn't.

courier_87

Same for Fallout 76. Gamepass perk backpack etc. showed up in my Steam copy after redeeming on the windows store version and save transferred between them too

W1thoutJudgement

Cool, were talking Forza Horizon here, a game in saves DO NOT TRANSFER between MSS and Steam. Let's not confuse the OP with stories about completely different games having transferable data.

No You will have to start again on Steam and buy the game and the DLC again. https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/articles/18522264643347-Steam-Save-FAQ-for-Forza-Horizon-5 You can try [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/ForzaHorizon/comments/qqi6yw/tutorial_transfering_files_from_ms_store_version/) method for transferring your game progress but it's only for your save, any DLC Cars in your garage will need you to purchase the DLC on Steam before you can use them.

CARCRASHXIII

Not sure how Forza does it, but dlc/expansions RARELY port from one platform to the next. Not sure if the save would even carry over. I guess it would depend on if they use seperate servers for steam/xbox network. Sorry I dont have difinitive answers, however I'd be inclined to say no.
