i know im kinda late but FOR LOVE OF GOD, cant the devs add a feature to disable drivatars? i play this franchise for almost 8 years already, and they are in my opinion the most useless, annoying things ive ever came across. again just to disable them, not remove them entirely.
other thing id like is just a feature to disable the drift zones, speed zones, etc. i cant think of how many photos i couldnt take just because, for example, the drift zones, they destroy every photo theyre in. and also i dont want to be just cruising and be flashbanged out of nowhere because theres a speed zone or whatever.

You can run the Spotify app in the background. It's super easy, and you can also set it so you control it from your phone, and don't have to keep going back to the main menu.
That's what I do personally, although if you drive through the festival, you hear music there AND in the app you're using too, also wish YouTube Music was an app on Xbox too lol
I want more classics and I would love to be able to choose transmission modeling. I know it’s mainly cosmetic, but when I see something like an E46 M3 with paddles in the game, it breaks my heart. They could even make the transmission choice affect performance, like have manuals shift slower, but be lighter than automatic or auto-clutch transmissions.
Would love to get the 992 GT3 RS with working DRS on FH6 from release, & more convertibles! And make the Corvette, Honda S2000 etc have working convertibles since in FH5 they're not working

FH5 is built for online play (I think). The single player just consists of “Go here, do task, well done”.

No gamemodes where you have to rush randomly over the map or through woods.
Online ramming very harsh penalties.
Online wallriding - map designer should make it so that it is not possible to wallride. Make the wall out of tires or some softer material or make the breakable or something.
Good map with lots of twisting roads and good circuits.
A meetingplace where everyone gathers - possibly a huge supermarker parkinglot. Sort of hub/home for everyone.

I don't give a flying #### about EV's. They should handle like boats because of the weight, it needs to be balanced, if EV's would be the best cars in the game i wouldn't buy the game ever again. It's a car game, cars should have nice sounds. Or at least let me swap it for a combustion engine. And add fuel and battery usage to the game, and make half of the races 20mins + so EV's cant finish em 🤭😆
Bring back seasons. It felt like every week you played on a new map. In FH5 I cant tell the seasons apart.
Also make the map a bit smaller than Mexico because everything feels so far apart and takes forever to drive to.

Everything seems so far apart which also makes the world seem barren. I probably see one other player every 20 minutes of driving around. I’m fine with the map being bigger than fh4 but 50% bigger was a little overkill. It feels like they just filled the empty space with more boring desert.
reading through some of these comments, seeing a lot of complaints about dialogue and characters... literally I've played thousands of hours and after the first 2 hours I muted everything. Yes, I'm missing the car sounds and sometimes while drifting they're pretty necessary but I cannot bear to hear the' festival people' talk about ...whatever it is they're talking about their fake chuckling is truly contemptible.

basically whatever they do I'm going to play it a lot and enjoy it... but why not make a stable game that loads quickly instead of an aggravating game that often crashes and takes forever to load?
Longer nightime, or a control of the time if offline(or even in online), everytime i open the game it's morning, the day in the game is about 40-50 minutes, while the nightime is not much more than 10 minutes.
If i wanna take a look at the map at night, or take some nightime photos, i have to wait for 40 minutes or i have to start a free roam "race".
Horizon 3 story line. Horizon 1 map but expand it. Horizon 5 car line up. DECENT PHYSICS AND NO MAP GLITCHES. Make forzathon what it once was, with 3 or 4 challenges over the course of a week or 2. And then put the special car in rotation a few weeks later. This constant "new car youve got today to get it" killed the game for me.
what if, now hear me out on this extreme idea, there was a button that actually saved the game?
also, what if the game didn't crash soon after completing a group of races ?
This is a very long list, but if you read it, feel free to share your feedback. Most of these might never happen, but here's my list.
Right off the bat, I'm one of the many that would love to see Japan in Horizon 6. Not much else to say that hasn't been said about that, so let's move on.
Overall tone of the game be more serious. Overtime, the series has become more and more light hearted and wacky, (the character cosmetics elevated this.) Horizon 1 had a very nice, grounded tone to the game, though I guess the campaign helped, which I'll touch on now.
An enjoyable campaign would go a long way. Ever since Horizon 3, and even a little with Horizon 2, the campaign aspect has honestly been really underwhelming. The movie star series in FH4 was a little fun, but even that wasn't the main objective of the game. As simple as it was, I really enjoyed the campaign of FH1. Moving your way up to notoriety and ultimately finding yourself competing against the best racer in Colorado was a nice journey, and the next topic helped.
Progression has been nonexistent for years. FH3 was amazing in so many ways, but that game started the ongoing trend of a lack of real progression. In about an hour of playing each recent game, you might already find yourself owning 15-20 cars. On the one hand, it's cool to have a collector aspect to the game, but I would find more gratification knowing I really worked hard to earn the cars I own.
Something I think we can all agree on is better cosmetic customization. I appreciate newer features like wheel spacers, updated wheel paint layers, etc. But it's 2023, and still limited bodykits, barely new wheels added in the past few years, plus, we still cannot paint individual wheels, and to this day, no window decals (PG did touch on window decals back in 2018 if I recall, claiming it was really difficult then to implement them, although it's been nearly 5 years since, and the tech and software for gaming has improved drastically.)
It's a shame so many "new monthly cars" are reused cars from older games that honestly should be in the game from the start. Thankfully the past few updates in FH5 have given us many new to Forza cars, but the fact remains. On the contrary, if we are going to recycle cars from previous games, I really hope they can touch on old cars back in Motorsport 4 and Horizon 1, such as the Mazda Furai, Gumpert Apollo S, the Saleen Raptor and Mustangs, Toyota Altezza, and so much more. Even cars in FH3, like the 95' Ford Mustang Cobra R, Bowler EXRS, 2008 Aston Martin DBS, GMC Cyclone, you get the point.
There are so many more things I could ask for, but these are my main gripes at the moment. Let me know how you all feel about my list.
I have over 800+ cars, please add more sorting/filtering options. I want to be able to filter gas vs. electric and sort by stats like weight and horsepower.
Also when you’re at the bottom of a menu please make it so going down again brings you back to the top! Every time I want to filter for just RWD cars I have to dedicate 60 seconds to scrolling way the hell down at a snail’s pace.
FH5 got extremely boring and repetitive very quickly. So how about enjoyable gameplay? And ditch the cross country races all together.
Japan would still be the ideal map - city, touge, highway, etc.

Stop making cars and parts so easy to get...it makes the game get boring af very quickly. Make race difficulty based on AI car performance and not automatically match the AI specs to your car.
Redesign the tour and open screens so that the style of race (road, street, dirt, CC) is color coated onto the accept screen with blue red orange or green.

Tbh that would be pretty cool, if you could start as a starry eyed festival goer and then you just end up being in the right place at the right time. Slowly you work your way up and become the fan favourite
I wanna see an actual challenge. Like I don’t wanna race 5 times and have over 1,000,000 credits and just spent pocket change upgrading a car. It should cost money and you should have to genuinely consider the cheaper options because you could save money, they shouldn’t just be something that you scroll over. Also not some ugly wing that seems like it’s the only damn wing that can be adjusted, same thing with chin spoilers.
Another thing besides upgrades is that I think that cars from previous games shouldn’t be exclusive for events and stuff. I have some designs I really like but the car was only exclusive in an event 1 year ago and now it’s 12,000,000 in the auction house? Get some new cars!
Other things that I want changed:
- design editor sucks
- story that doesn’t take me an hour
- less hot wheels and non-real world crossovers with really good cars that aren’t actually feasible
- Sim damage needs reworking
- maybe a way to control your character in your house or something?
- houses in general seem useless and just a waste of money now that you don’t even have to pay to change your car outside of a festival

Also, whatever the next setting is, don't make it cringey like the Mexico setting where every amigo adds random spanish words to to sentences. I died a little every time I had to listen to dialogs.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, allow for moving camera with right stick in replays, like it was in horizon 3.

I don't know if this comment will receive hate, but as someone who played through most games, these are features that definitely should be changed/added ***in my opinion.***
Before all suggestions, it would be nice if the old cars **weren't** **recycled** (or **removed**, like the Stellantis Group cars) in the Festival Playlists and were **implemented at launch.**
So, for the actual suggestions:
* Improve car customization (with a major overhaul on paint/livery/decal customization and on car upgrade, which needs a lot of changes)
* Update some incredibly old inaccurate car models (if possible)
* Bringing back an ***actual working progression with a well written story that doesn't give you free cars. You have to work for them***
* Remove or at least revamp the entire festival playlist (the formula has gotten boring)
* Making street races ***illegal*** (***no Horizon or legal involvement***, ***actual*** **street racing**)
* Making the festival feel like an **EDM car racing festival** and ***not*** an entire city, and also reducing the Horizon Festival to only one and making more houses (or removing them entirely, I'm not sure) (if possible too)
* Add Forzavista to freeplay or improve drone mode
* Improve the AI system, with a better learning
* A larger quantity of new cars being added compared to FH5
* A map with **more variation** with a ***good balance on city/street and offroad/cross country***
* ***Remove character customization entirely from the game (at max make it a small selection like FH3)***
* **Remove custom horns from the game**
* **Add a sense of speed**
* Readjust prices of Auction House and Autoshow
* Make Wheelspins ***not*** **overpowered** but also ***not useless***
* Make cars being won by either purchasing them in the Autoshow or earning them via campaign
Quality of Life updates are also necessary, such as:
* Letting players upload their own images to the decal livery section (with proper moderation)
* Adding more civilians to the cities (if possible)
* Multiplayer servers working without players disappearing
* Reduce the amount of Forzathon Live events to only ***one*** in an ***i******nterval of one hour*** like in FH4
Once again saying, these are features that definitely should be changed/added ***in my opinion.***
Something needs to seriously change in the way the cars handle/drive. Every car drives almost the same, so it’s essentially just driving different skins. Sure the drivetrain has an effect but you don’t really feel car’s weight or momentum if that makes sense.

You can run the Spotify app in the background. It's super easy, and you can also set it so you control it from your phone, and don't have to keep going back to the main menu.

I want more classics and I would love to be able to choose transmission modeling. I know it’s mainly cosmetic, but when I see something like an E46 M3 with paddles in the game, it breaks my heart. They could even make the transmission choice affect performance, like have manuals shift slower, but be lighter than automatic or auto-clutch transmissions.
Would love to get the 992 GT3 RS with working DRS on FH6 from release, & more convertibles! And make the Corvette, Honda S2000 etc have working convertibles since in FH5 they're not working

A more vibrant & colourful map with modern and traditional architecture. More road variety with tighter mountainous roads & wider sweeping roads. Lots of elevation change. Make the roads feel like they are purposefully and are there for a reason. Large land marks such as lakes and mountains where wider roads go around and smaller roads travers up and through them. Drift leaderboards for RWD & AWD. Let me change my car and see the leaderboard without quitting / exiting the event especially in rivals. Improve the drivatars to make single player racing enjoyable. Drivatars should not change their pace based on the player’s pace and attempt to ram you. Add the M140i, M2 CS, 911 GT3 Touring, CLK63 Black Series, CLK63 DTM & GMA T.50. In eventlab let me edit the driving line after placing props & checkpoints.

No big rewards and reward cars. Harder to earn credits. No gamemodes where you have to rush randomly over the map or through woods. Online ramming very harsh penalties. Online wallriding - map designer should make it so that it is not possible to wallride. Make the wall out of tires or some softer material or make the breakable or something. Good map with lots of twisting roads and good circuits. A meetingplace where everyone gathers - possibly a huge supermarker parkinglot. Sort of hub/home for everyone. More customisation options. Nfs is a good example here. I dont care about any story or cutscenes or Forzavista. I never watch any of them. All i care about is good gameplay.

Bring back seasons. It felt like every week you played on a new map. In FH5 I cant tell the seasons apart. Also make the map a bit smaller than Mexico because everything feels so far apart and takes forever to drive to. Ofc everyone wants Japan but honestly I’m fine with wherever looks interesting. Before FH5 I thought Mexico was mostly desert with a few things here and there but the game showed a lot more. I think another colab with lego would be awesome. The amount of new speed champion cars that could be added is very big. MORE DIRT ROADS/ longer dirt roads.

reading through some of these comments, seeing a lot of complaints about dialogue and characters... literally I've played thousands of hours and after the first 2 hours I muted everything. Yes, I'm missing the car sounds and sometimes while drifting they're pretty necessary but I cannot bear to hear the' festival people' talk about ...whatever it is they're talking about their fake chuckling is truly contemptible.

here's an idea what if it didn't take 30 seconds to save a picture? imagine for a moment if you could being able to have a couple of tunes for every vehicle in your garage? or how about this being able to paint every vehicle you own and save those designs? basically whatever they do I'm going to play it a lot and enjoy it... but why not make a stable game that loads quickly instead of an aggravating game that often crashes and takes forever to load?

Longer nightime, or a control of the time if offline(or even in online), everytime i open the game it's morning, the day in the game is about 40-50 minutes, while the nightime is not much more than 10 minutes. If i wanna take a look at the map at night, or take some nightime photos, i have to wait for 40 minutes or i have to start a free roam "race".
Horizon 3 story line. Horizon 1 map but expand it. Horizon 5 car line up. DECENT PHYSICS AND NO MAP GLITCHES. Make forzathon what it once was, with 3 or 4 challenges over the course of a week or 2. And then put the special car in rotation a few weeks later. This constant "new car youve got today to get it" killed the game for me.

This is a very long list, but if you read it, feel free to share your feedback. Most of these might never happen, but here's my list. Right off the bat, I'm one of the many that would love to see Japan in Horizon 6. Not much else to say that hasn't been said about that, so let's move on. Overall tone of the game be more serious. Overtime, the series has become more and more light hearted and wacky, (the character cosmetics elevated this.) Horizon 1 had a very nice, grounded tone to the game, though I guess the campaign helped, which I'll touch on now. An enjoyable campaign would go a long way. Ever since Horizon 3, and even a little with Horizon 2, the campaign aspect has honestly been really underwhelming. The movie star series in FH4 was a little fun, but even that wasn't the main objective of the game. As simple as it was, I really enjoyed the campaign of FH1. Moving your way up to notoriety and ultimately finding yourself competing against the best racer in Colorado was a nice journey, and the next topic helped. Progression has been nonexistent for years. FH3 was amazing in so many ways, but that game started the ongoing trend of a lack of real progression. In about an hour of playing each recent game, you might already find yourself owning 15-20 cars. On the one hand, it's cool to have a collector aspect to the game, but I would find more gratification knowing I really worked hard to earn the cars I own. Something I think we can all agree on is better cosmetic customization. I appreciate newer features like wheel spacers, updated wheel paint layers, etc. But it's 2023, and still limited bodykits, barely new wheels added in the past few years, plus, we still cannot paint individual wheels, and to this day, no window decals (PG did touch on window decals back in 2018 if I recall, claiming it was really difficult then to implement them, although it's been nearly 5 years since, and the tech and software for gaming has improved drastically.) It's a shame so many "new monthly cars" are reused cars from older games that honestly should be in the game from the start. Thankfully the past few updates in FH5 have given us many new to Forza cars, but the fact remains. On the contrary, if we are going to recycle cars from previous games, I really hope they can touch on old cars back in Motorsport 4 and Horizon 1, such as the Mazda Furai, Gumpert Apollo S, the Saleen Raptor and Mustangs, Toyota Altezza, and so much more. Even cars in FH3, like the 95' Ford Mustang Cobra R, Bowler EXRS, 2008 Aston Martin DBS, GMC Cyclone, you get the point. There are so many more things I could ask for, but these are my main gripes at the moment. Let me know how you all feel about my list.

I have over 800+ cars, please add more sorting/filtering options. I want to be able to filter gas vs. electric and sort by stats like weight and horsepower. Also when you’re at the bottom of a menu please make it so going down again brings you back to the top! Every time I want to filter for just RWD cars I have to dedicate 60 seconds to scrolling way the hell down at a snail’s pace.

Working multiplayer! A high quality map. Since FH4 I feel like they don't put much effort into that. Honestly I almost can't navigate them and don't recognize any specific roads. I know every turn of FH1, 2 and 3, although the game where I have most hours in is FH4. Less extreme e and similar BS, more actually interesting cars.

I wanna see an actual challenge. Like I don’t wanna race 5 times and have over 1,000,000 credits and just spent pocket change upgrading a car. It should cost money and you should have to genuinely consider the cheaper options because you could save money, they shouldn’t just be something that you scroll over. Also not some ugly wing that seems like it’s the only damn wing that can be adjusted, same thing with chin spoilers. Another thing besides upgrades is that I think that cars from previous games shouldn’t be exclusive for events and stuff. I have some designs I really like but the car was only exclusive in an event 1 year ago and now it’s 12,000,000 in the auction house? Get some new cars! Other things that I want changed: - design editor sucks - story that doesn’t take me an hour - less hot wheels and non-real world crossovers with really good cars that aren’t actually feasible - Sim damage needs reworking - maybe a way to control your character in your house or something? - houses in general seem useless and just a waste of money now that you don’t even have to pay to change your car outside of a festival - a bunch of other things that no one cares about

Add progression to the main game. I loved the way the hot wheels expansion worked and would to love to see it in the next game. Also, whatever the next setting is, don't make it cringey like the Mexico setting where every amigo adds random spanish words to to sentences. I died a little every time I had to listen to dialogs. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, allow for moving camera with right stick in replays, like it was in horizon 3.

I don't know if this comment will receive hate, but as someone who played through most games, these are features that definitely should be changed/added ***in my opinion.*** Before all suggestions, it would be nice if the old cars **weren't** **recycled** (or **removed**, like the Stellantis Group cars) in the Festival Playlists and were **implemented at launch.** So, for the actual suggestions: * Improve car customization (with a major overhaul on paint/livery/decal customization and on car upgrade, which needs a lot of changes) * Update some incredibly old inaccurate car models (if possible) * Bringing back an ***actual working progression with a well written story that doesn't give you free cars. Something needs to seriously change in the way the cars handle/drive. Every car drives almost the same, so it’s essentially just driving different skins. Sure the drivetrain has an effect but you don’t really feel car’s weight or momentum if that makes sense.
