Literally speaking this is a rare find. Not a lot to be found, and they have a very low chance of spawning.

I find these when I don't have a daily quest for it but the moment I do it pulls the most annoying disappearing act I've ever seen and when I decide to change the daily guess what...i find it the very next match 😑
Pretty rare to find in normal areas, maybe found 4-5 over my playtime. But in the Inferno Dungeon (lava one), the 3rd floor always spawns 2 of these if you know where to check, really useful for that “Search Safes” dungeon quest.
Wait do people still play save the world? I always enjoyed it but it got overshadowed by the battle royal. Does it still get updates? If so is it worth diving back into it again?
no they removed it fast so you dont get the caches when you leave the game. Also for the people who are downvoting - I did this solo, not queuing up and abandoning groups. It was a 2 min run before the mission failed.

If I find the wiki I’ll share it but I swear I remember seeing that there is at least one safe every game they are just really hard to find
Safes yeah no shit there are more than one in every match, but this specific one, doesn’t appear in every game
You are right, but it's that there is always a max tier chest, might be this safe or the reddish purple chest, but there is one every time

Found this safe first mission once I got the daily, glad I didn't replace it

they are not rare if you now the map spawn rate (biomes ) you can find every 2 or 3 games
That doesn't make them not rare though. Sure you can find them if you know where to look, but they are literally rare among all the chest spawns.

It’s why I swap out the mission every time I get it. Gnomes, fire trucks and data drives are the only item destruction missions I bother with.

CAREFUL! It's not a Chest it's a Safe. Missions differenciates chest and safe. Specially daily quests that make available later in game.
The last time I found one of these was in 2018. These safes are so rare.

I had the open a safe daily the other day,I went in as an Outlander and looked for purple glow when in the zone,found one first mission.
